Either that or you sit wars because you dont want to bring a strong counter-part without having the attacking power to pull your weight. I understand that a new town hall is a big jump and learning curve. When a th9 goes to th10, now hes gotta deal with inferno towers, freeeze spells, more defenses, etc... you need the troops. So get the troops first, then drop your infernos so you can DEFEND yourself. Why would anybody wanna NOT defend themselves?? Why? Cuz it they can fool the matchmaking into thinking maybe they dont have 5 th10's, so lets match them against a clan that has 3 th10's. Thats not impressive. People are EXPLOITING it. We've created an environment in this game where people have to engineer to counter-engineer the engineers!! I visit clans all the time and I keep seeing co-leaders recruiting new members and telling them as soon as they join what to upgrade and what not to upgrade... isnt that telling people how to play the game?? Its ridiculous. Seems like an unnecessary fat that could easily be cut out. So quit the argument of "stop telling people how to play", because it's ultimately affecting how the rest of us that play, the game was supposed to be played, by ruining the war experience.
