Nah, they obviously don't care about people with visual issues. I asked Nick if they had given any thought to that in the thread he linked to above, but he didn't comment.

Wow. Well.. The more they update the game. The worse it gets. The game looks bad now on my tablet Asus MemoPad 7, and I was wondering why. I have my answers.
First update, can't play anymore on Galaxy s3.
Second update, lower graphics.
Hay Day, you keep disappointing me more and more, and also many players. You won't get a single penny out of my wallet anymore.
EDIT: it's also pixaleted on Android!!
Well i have Android and graphics is bad, very bad, my phone isn't that old, I bought it last year. This is bad, I don't know if anyone is going to use rose and her husband (forgot the name) and because of them we're forced to play with this terrible graphics. I think that hay day will lose many loyal players

Fortunately I am not severely sight impaired, my issues are relatively mild compared to yours (also caused by a medical condition) and will hopefully improve one day, though they are bad enough for this to affect me.
