This is a major problem. It started happening in October. If you see the orange WiFi graphic in a battle, its done, its over, zero chance for recovery. Previously if I saw that I could scuttle over to be right next to my wifi router and it would be fixed. For whatever reason, any slight network hiccup in a battle and the game can't recover, battle lost. It is really ruining the game. I pretty much have to sit right next my wifi router to avoid this. I never play over a non-wifi connection anymore. This really sucks. Maybe after 4 years of fun, its time to hang it up and find a new game.
I have two ISPs Xfintiy and ATT, completely different wiring out to the street. I play with IOS and Android tablets, also with an iPhone. This problem transcends all of them. The main issue is lack of recovery if a connection starts to fail. I think something with the buffering and recovery of the network connection was changed recently and its a terrible change.
Losing connection for the last 8 days. Never had issues before. See I'm not alone thread started 4 weeks ago. Why hasn't sc addressed this problem?
It's very concerning that we are still having these issues and the support still puts the blame on our internet connection.
Hello,
To emphasize the issue, which my account is not affected by (iPad Air2 iOS10.1.1), many of my clan mates are experiencing also the issue, some for a long time now.
I see this thread bumping always back to the top of the bugs, I assume that there should be a statement made by some moderator here, about the issue being raised to SC support.
Since I follow this thread, I am keeping my clan mates informed of any workaround posted here, and have them try. Yet the loss of connections continue.
Will anyone involved in providing a solution ever reply to this thread (have not seen any yet).
Thanks in advance.
I know you're trying to help but no offense, nobody's device has issues here. I've more than enough free space on my device yet I only experience this issue when I drop my troops for attacking. This only started after the Halloween removal update. To me Supercell's silence on the issue clearly indicates it's an issue on their end which they're reluctant to fix sadly. The support people are not helpful either, all they is give textbook responses like "play with a good connection" yada yada yada.
I'm from the UK and I have also been experiencing disconnect issues for the past 2 weeks (at least this is when I started to really notice). It seems to only happen during my attacks and not whilst I'm searching for villages or when I'm on my own village.
I get disconnected when using either wi-fi or mobile data 4G (EE network), previous to this I would never get disconnected even when using my phone data (EE 4G).
Some additional info that might help:-

f.............kkkkk already!!!still same after 2 months maybe !!!today 5 attacks ,5 lost connections .... still no answer no reaction on this f...... issue .... 2 MONTHS ! congratulations sc clap clap  it seems like you are done with this game
I keep getting a lost connection. I cannot attack because it keeps booting me off at random intervals. I cannot participate in wars either.
This is a problem with your servers and not my internet connection.
Not only do you need to fix this but also give us a great deal of resources for the inconvenience!!!!!
My whole family plays coc and lots of us have this problem. For me, whenever I attack I am in fear of disconnecting , because EVERY SINGLE ATTACK I do, I disconnect. Sometimes if I am lucky, I can finish my attack before it disconnects, but rarely. And war is especially annoying, I'm in a clan with my family, and almost every war, at least one of us loses connection. This happens on Clash Royal too, and I am certain it is nothing with my internet.
