I hope you mean American as a continent, not American is in the USA, because Canada celebrated their Thanksgiving a month ago.

Indeed, but it is a different holiday, just same name ;)

No pilgrims, no parades, no mayflower... just turkey, but we have that for Christmas and Easter too
