Duration of shield
Currently the duration of shield is accumulative. Higher damage percentage induces a longer duration of shield.
I. E.
12 hours for 30%
14 hours for 60%
16 hours foe 90%
However, I am wondering if anybody would be placing around 30% of their buildings for shielding. Therefore I propose a new way of calculating shielding.
Duration of Shields should be increased slowly at first, vigorously in the middle as the loss due to damage should be highest at around 50%, and slowing down again as actually it foes not matter a lot in terms of loot.
To provide kind of reasoning for the shielding duration, I will use the sine curve formula. The shield will top at 24 hours, with shield duration as follows:
12:00:00+(12:00:00 * sin(-(damage percentage/90*100)degrees))
However, in order not to pose a great workload, shield duration will only change every 5% of damage.
0% 00:00:00
5% 00:10:00
10% 00:35:00
15% 01:20:00
20% 02:20:00
25% 03:30:00
30% 05:00:00
35% 06:30:00
40% 08:20:00
45% 10:00:00
50% 12:00:00
55% 14:00:00
60% 15:40:00
65% 17:30:00
70% 19:00:00
75% 20:30:00
80% 21:40:00
85% 22:40:00
90% 23:30:00
95% 23:50:00
100% 24:00:00
Guard duration will be in linear scale with the looted resources to loot available.

24 hours shield? This'll make the lack of bases in the higher leagues even a bigger problem.
-
The duration can be changed. I only want to keep the ratio.
-
I think there's no need to? taking down the minimal % needed for getting a shield is ok. But why change it every 5%?

More fair to those who just lost a star.

you mean with the Th? Well probably your Th isn't positioned that well then. To reach the Th in a hybrid base, you'll probably need to destroy 30% at least.
