After the last update i only get eggs in my newspapers !
No idea why but since last night's maintenance my Daily Dirt is 100% eggs. No wheat, corn, indigo, etc. Nothing like this has ever happened before. A glitch perhaps?

I'm having same problem! 99% eggs!! I was just going to post a complaint.
Same here too - getting really irritated! I just had one edition and it was 100% Eggs. Not even some boring old wheat to end the boredom of flicking the pages to see more...... Eggs!
The problem is the new helpers. People don't know how to use them yet. They are having them make way too many eggs and they don't know what to do with them. So they sell them in the daily dirt. But no one is buying because they have too many eggs also. Supercell, the game is broken. Please fix asap
Omg is thisis crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed. I need cotton really bad and i can not get anyone in my neighborhood to speak to me much less help me out. Now that theirs only eggs for sale I can't get cotton at all. I thought maybe some people banded together to try and screw the game up and only posted eggs for sale...This is rediculous
Not ridiculous nor broken, just people not realising the consequences of the new feature. Give it a week, when the free period is over. The newspaper will right itself after that.

the long awaited update brings features nobody wanted - diamond pit helpers who can't actually even help with tasks, and do what they want, not what you want! If it's because of the new helpers, where is everything else that they are collecting?? Why do we have these helpers anyways? I really want to be able to shop from the variety of products like I used to be able to before the update.
I'm glad it's not just me. I've taken screen shots of two entire papers of all eggs! (And could with almost every one I've seen) Very frustrating! Hope the above poster is right and things will get back to normal once the free trial is over.
Difficult to believe that DD is an actual sale of over produced inventory. Otherwise it would be a really huge coincidence that ironically what you need for your boat is suddenly nowhere to be found once you start filling crates...even common items like soybeans. Seems more like a game algorithm. Hopefully the egg issue will be ironed out as the bugs inevitably fall out after updates. Hopefully soon! :P

You cannot blame SC for something YOU did. That is as ridiculous as blaming a wall socket when you decided to poke a fork in it. Blame the people that flooded the newspaper with eggs as a result of activating Rose.
Actually, I have been seeing quite a bit of bacon and the like in the newspaper since the update. More than usual. The thing is that it is usually covered by eggs. Tap into a few egg adverts and you'll see bacon and other stuff in store.Quote:

Now this is ridiculous. We all get from the same pool of ads, with the only possible filter being the level of our farms. If there is a glut of eggs in the pool, then EVERYONE would get the same problem, seeing as eggs are practically level 1 items. Which is precisely what is happening.Quote:

Many farmers are trialing the new helpers. That's understandable; most of us like to investigate how things work. That's why we choose a resource management game. One consequence is that there are a lot of eggs for sale at the moment.
When I first played Hay Day there were always a lot of eggs in the DD. That gradually reduced with the introduction of more products that used eggs, such as mayonnaise. Recently I have felt that the egg supply has been more balanced.
That has now gone out of kilter. I believe it will get better; farmers are learning how to work Rose. A considerable number will probably stop using her after the week's trial, or will use her in a limited way. All of that will go some way to balancing the DD.
Ernest is working more slowly on my farm; his products tend to take longer. Who knows - we might soon have a cheese glut!
I figured the new helpers were the problem with the eggs in the paper. It's very frustrating and needs to be fixed. Makes me not even want to play.
It's not misuse of the helpers. I have eggs set to zero for Rose and she still hops in everchance on my feed mills and makes chicken feed???

This is because Rose (the new animal helper) is going a little wild with her collecting! It should calm down when Supercell fixes the glitch, or when the free week is finished.
