I'm a big fan of the new barracks, and the quick train feature is fantastic for war armies. But when raiding you frequently use only part of your army. It'd be great if the quick train could scan your camps for existing troops, and subtract them from your quick train queue, so you could retrain your raiding army with one tap regardless of which troops were left over.
I wholeheartedly agree. And if this is too difficult to implement, I think a "remove all" button should be placed in the queue instead, to delete all old troops before pressing the auto train button again.
An auto-fill like you are suggesting would be best so troops that are ready wouldn't have to be recooked. Hope they implement it 😊
Yes, I mentioned this in another post the other day. Would be awesome if they did it for both troops and spells.
The new training system is really good ❤! But it could be better.
I am constantly forcing myself to use all my army units/spells because I know the queue... is simply... a QUEUE.
When we attack someone, we may vary the troops/spells we use: sometimes we use everything we've got, sometimes not.
The "quick train" option won't care if you spent 30 archers. If the next unit on the line is a golem/pekka, is that what you get. A quick solution to this without having to change the queue implementation is actually quite simple:
- Create a checkbox where you set your current army to be "reconstructed" if not used entirely (including spells) during an attack.
Before any multiplayer match a trigger would check your current army. If it matches one of your saved armies and you've the option set to "true", everytime you partially use your troops, the game should auto queue the remaining units (provided you've got the necessary resources). This would be a special queue (with gray or blue background), where the player can't edit/remove the units being produced.
All the rest would remain the same (if you donate, you will have to replace the units or deal with the queue order).
Talking about donations... it would be cool if we had a donation queue... but this is subject for another topic ;)

A simple solution that I've seen mentioned by others is to have the "previous army" only be the troops u used. Also a tip, when u make a preset army u do not have to fill it up completely (I don't have a poison in mine so it's only 8/9).Quote:
