Honestly, every spell should be a different color. Clone could be a silverish color, lighting- deep yellow.
Poison and skeleton are a problem for me sometimes if I'm not too careful lol but that's a different story.

I woke up once with all my barracks full with baby drags, where I was expecting gobs. Can we make gobs white or something?
Personally, this has never happened to me, but making the clone a dark green color could work. Either that or make lightning white and the clone spell a royal blue. I hardly use clone though, so I have little experience in this.
Just becuase someone doesnt agree with your opinion does not give you room to foolishly insult. Let me guess you at some point made a post about dropping a troop instead of next button?
SC made the color choices because that is what they wanted in the game. If more people had an issue then they would say something.
Again. Pay attention, The graphics on spells are not the same. aside from color.
Just because you dont agree with the opinion of thousands of if not millions doesnt give you the room to lambast that opinion instead of blindly agreeing that 3 spells should occupy 2% of the color spectrum and th11s in high pressure battle will notice small graphical differences when fractions of seconds count.
Again. Pay attention. This is a super easy fix for SC that will negatively affect literally noone.
Try reading what he wrote. Is your sarcasm detection really that off? Again, you insist on taking the opposition to my argument, just for the sake of doing so. There is literally zero logic in defending the extreme similarities in color selections, but your shilling is so incredible that you must disagree with everything I've stated.
Most have agreed with my VERY reasonable argument, but you continue to pop in here when you've never even been in the predicament before. Trust me, it's not skill. My skill is good enough; probably in the top 5% of players to be generous. Perhaps you should try using freeze and clone in a th11 raid a dozen times, then you come back and give your feedback. Sound fair? Otherwise, quit shilling.
To clarify, I seldom made this mistake. I think I've done it twice so far, but both were 100% contributed to the similarity in color. Trust me, in the heat of the moment, with cc coming at you while you're carving your way to the core of a th11 base, you have a split second to react on spell decisions. As I said to the other guy, try using clone and freeze a dozen or so times at high level play. I promise you, you'll agree with me.

Again, I dont agree with what you say and if SC thought it was an issue it would be changed, Im sorry you cant take the split second to pay attention to your attacking.
Thats the great thing about opinions, I respect that you have yours on the subject. However you insulting everyone who doesnt agree is rather pathetic
