So i have been using loonions since...forever but after the eagle artilerly, the extra AD, the extra levels etc. loonions have been disapearing so after i reached titans league with bowlers/healers strategy i decided to go back to the one and only LOONIONS strategy!I had 9K DE and after few attacks i already have 47K.. My loons and minions are the SAME lvl as they USED TO BE! (lvl 6 loons and lvl 6 minions) I use 55 minions and 26 loons! (HEROES ARE NOT ALWAYS NEEDED!!!! YES THAT IS RIGHT! FOR THE 50% HEROES ARE STILL NOT NEEDED SOMETIMES) If you want to still push or farm with loonions is DUABLE!

WHY use loonions you still ask? Well besides the fact that since the Halloween update they are ready in NO TIME and cheap, i think it is a form of ART!!! YES, ART! in order to use PURE Loonions strategy you need to be PRECISE! you need to strategically plan your entire attack in order to PRECISELY get the 50%! especially with the eagle artillery trust me it NOT EASY!

CC Troops: Loons OR Dragon with a loon / Poison or Earthquake
Spells: 4 Rage + 1 Lightning + 1 poison/Earthquake

Right now I'm doing Quadlavaloon yes no MINION buddy, but this cost me more DE.

Nice log OP.

Here's a video I made on Lavaloonion pushing a few days ago. I think it is definitely doable in Legend but this comp uses some DE for 2 hounds and 12 minions.

BTW this is what I'm aiming and practicing, so far I could say I can't perfect it due to royals 30/28/15 but somehow I can manage to get 1 to 2 stars on TH11 opponents.

Yeap! Royals play an important role, hence for people that do not have high lvl heroes, IF they have patience then they can use LOONIONS even in Titan League (as proven) and get the 50% even on MAXED TH11s WITHOUT HEROES! #loonionsisart

As someone who treats loons like a Garlic Bread side dish to Dragons I love watching an experienced Loonatic work. Having watched some of these replays what is impressive to a less refined pusher is how you preserve the heroes by stopping as soon as the cups are secured...It has made me review my hero use as I don't care how good people think they are you can always learn new tricks.....especially professional magicians. Nice post Angel.

well i always divide my attack in compartments of 3 and sometimes 4! i spawn always 4,5 loons close to an AD/ARCHER/WIZ along with rage! in my first compartment though i also spawn the Grand Wizard in order to provide them with his spell which is essential! Then while all the air defenses are focused on my loons, i spawn my minions (immediately after my loons normally BUT careful of the air mines) in order to destroy the buildings and give me the % i need! NOW the % i need from each compartment is approximelty 13%! if i get 13%+ from my first section of the attack i am confident i will get the 50%! you should ALWAYS have your heroes with you and if you have one at least have the queen since you need her range for the unfortunate scenario of 47-49%

Nice. Gj telling people the beauty n easiness of looning whether u wanna farm, push, or war. Im a ok farmer n fell in love with loon farming myself n prefer looning over barching as I find it easier, less boring, dont have to next as much, n its efficiency.

LoL. I remember going to the original Loonatix clan to learn some attack options as a TH9. Glad to see the old loonion is still good for 50% one star attacks. I remember picking apart bases that way, I made my first trip to champs with that attack at TH10 back in the day.

exactly! i was getting bored of the "New" strategies and the way you "should" adapt to the changes... i say NO to this :P im sticking with loonions even if they introduce another anti-air defense haha

Yea im old school myself but still find looning best n most efficient way to farm. Beauty of looning is u can also push if u want. Its only effective army u can use without heroes at all and good way to hide ur low lv heroes if need be. Ill take looning over barch farming any day. Efficiency(pre update just make miniball to match quick rebuild time of barch or bam without boost), effectiveness( dont need to be as picky with bases compared to barch n can win all raids without heroes), success rate (gl doing well barching without heroes n gaining most of resources u r attacking whereas looning expect to get most if not all resources without heroes)

well obviously, like i said i have been using loonions since i was TH9 (2012-2013) but i got an entire playlist to assist people in mastering the loonion strategy!

I'm searching but to no avail hahaha, went back here oh I missed that silly me:) I'm sure there are very few using this loonions strategy back then before because since using 4rage can now be replace with 8maxed haste spells. Have you tried using 2rage and 4haste combo yet or all haste, give use feedback buddy. BTW my king is down right now I'm gonna use you loonions if I could :) Its totally different with lavaloon only and you're right.

Viewing it now, its all TH10. I was searching for TH11 version, anyhow the technique maybe similar. Yap worst case -36cups if you didn't got a star :(

it is the same....... the army you have for th11 is the same as th10 despite some lvls.... but my loons and minions are the same as they were in th10... nothing has changed in terms of ATTACKING ;)

Just finished another attack and saved both my heros, 2 rage and 1 lightning... if you have not tried this strategy and you want to save and gather fast loot i advise you to try it!!!! I am sitting with 10,000,000 Gold right now and 110,000DE and 1,000,000Elixir (cause i just upgraded my loons) I got 4340 trophies and i havent lost for many many matches! i NEVER go for the loot i simply go after cups and just the loot you get from win bonus and the 5 win bonus too is extreme!

Reminder: You need lvl 6 loons lvl 6 minions and all your heroes to be active (in case you are stuck at 45%+ and you need that 5% extra to get the win) also you will need to have rage and lightning spells (try to max those asap as well POISON or EARTHQUAKE)

I've been looting this way too. Always used balloons and minions before miner, now that miner isn't as effective, back to loonion. Currently using 34 loon, 32 minions 3 WB, 1 rage, 1 freeze, 6 haste, a poison. In champ, so going for bases with some loot / bonus.

Actually hastes are indeed better for loons than rages in almost any situation.

Rages do nothing to empower loons if its not the core with all high HP things.
In every other places 2 loons can kill any def without dmg buff. So bigger speed buff from haste in 2 places is better than 1 rage.
