Did helps on a farm, now they keep visiting my RSS

Aargh! I think I already know the answer to this!

I helped someone via the DD about 3 weeks ago and they keep visiting me and buying up my RSS.

I'm a quiet player in a small NH who rarely advertises. I did a derby help task and found a few bushes and since then the person buys all of my rss stuff. I often put high value stuff in there for my nh and now my nh are missing out.

The person isn't following me, is there anything I can do?

I believe last visitors lasts up to a maximum of 2 weeks.

If they aren't following you and 2 weeks have passed they should no longer be able to raid you.

Wouldn't call it raiding. If it's in a shop for sale, it's fair game for all ☺

Although I agree with illinirick, sometimes you have a follower who you would rather remove. Luckily it's possible to remove followers by holding down their icon in the followers bar. The icon gets a red border and you can remove him/her.

Thanks guys for your responses, if they've only got two weeks then I can cope with that! I keep checking if they've followed me or befriended me but they haven't.

I'm usually so careful not to visit farms outside my nh as it's opening a door you can't close. Just cross that my nh friends missed things that I knew they needed.

This kind of thing has happened to me twice in over two years of playing. I don't like it, and I'm sorry it is happening to you. But I also consider it part of the game (IT'S A GAME!) and I "don't like it" in the same way that I don't like sugar or dairy boats. I'll flip off those boats, and I'll flip off the avatar of those buyer. Then move on.

But I think it's foolish to make up a code of ethics in my mind and expect random people playing the game to adhere to it. If the game allows it then it's allowed.

I certainly don't let it prevent me from helping people. To me, helping others is an important part of the game. Avoiding that just means that I would be agreeing to be somebody's victim. No chance.

Indeed, helping other players within and outside my neighborhood is the foundation of how I play. I won't allow enthusiastic shoppers (Thank you LetTheMusicPlay for coining the term) visiting me frequently to diminish how I play.

Their timing isn't still as good as mine when I sell rare items. :)

Yeah, it can get quite frustrating when you're leaving out nice items for your friends and neighbors and a random player raids your stand :3

My little buying fairy has just visited again after I had a big clear out of rare items. I guess it's the one-sidedness that is the thing. They can visit me but I can't visit them or even find them to help each other mutually.

In my nh we never buy more than 3 items in each others shops even if we would really like them, just so that others have a fair chance.

Please, please, please, let's not start the whole "raiding/not raiding/it's only a game/arbitrary rules" discussion yet again.

The answer to to OP's question is: you just have to wait it out and only sell boring items at max price until you drop off their Last Helpers tab. Let's leave it at that. Please.
