Supercell should give us a 30 minute warning before the 5 minute maintenance notice.

This would be so great because instead of just getting a notice saying, maintenance in 5 minutes, cannot attack. They should give us a 30 minute notice saying that there will be a maintenance before it happens so that we can use our attacks in war and stuff.

I was going to use my final attack in war and right when I was going to click it, I get a notice saying maintenance in 5 minutes. I wanted to sleep 1 hour and a half ago, but now I have to wait for this maintenance to end to use my final attack.

Anyone else agree? If not, what's wrong with a warning?

Meh. Affects such a small percentage of the people.

5 min is enough to get an attack in anyways.

Agreed but for other reasons. Bought a 2 hour guard, 10 minutes later maintenance hit. Kept checking in, kept checking in, kept checking in....... once maintenance was over, guard was gone and STILL have cool down on the 1st one I bought lol. GG SC, GG.........

It would be proper for Supercell to give both notification 30mins and 5mins before their maintenance.... This would give us ample time. I don't think anyone would disagree with this.....

There is one in every crowd that will disagree for no real reason

Pretty sure they announce it in the announcement forums, Twitter, Facebook, and some other places. May not be in game, but it's announced it's incoming. Might want to check forums on Tuesdays before purchasing guards or other things. They did announce the Halloween update was coming soon, so it was kind of expected.

I think that 5 min warning means they've already started the maintenance, but just a delay until everyone is logged off. That's why you can't attack in those 5 minutes.

They never give a specific time from what I know. It's 10 gems so I'm not butthurt about it, just saying either a heads up or a guard pause would be nice. Or don't give either for all I care, just don't give me a cool down on the guard I just purchased.

And I check forums everyday, I never once saw a specific day or time unless I'm looking in the wrong place lol

I can't believe some people here blaming OP for that. OP has suggested a valuable change.
Although it affects very small percentage yet this problem can be removed completely.
Instead of giving warning 5minutes prior to maintenance, the broadcast message should be "Attacks will be disabled after 25minutes". People disagree even to this change in statement.
Some people don't have sense when to oppose.
