If you need coins for new machines, sell stuff for maximum coin. Make full use of the advertising and you will have buyers.
No what I mean is how can I know how much I should produce? like 10 cheesecakes, 20 bread...etcQuote:

I would say things to focus on are basics for making other things (and hard to buy), so dairy and sugar, along with those things that take a very long time like jams, as wussypuss suggests. To prioritise expanding the barn over the silo or land (apart from fishing area) at this point will be helpful in managing barn space.
I agree with what has been said so far. I would add that it's good practice to expand your barn slightly more than your silo, as the barn is where you keep ALL expansion items.
Some farmers concentrate on expanding only one building at once, selling off expansion stuff for the other building/land. That way they get coins, and the barn doesn't get so full that they cannot store anything else.
Easiest way I found, when farm is low level, is concentrate on planting, wheat, corning etc to get tools to expand barn, and collecting animal produce that also gives tools. At size 400 it is fairly difficult to fill boat orders other than produce, dairy or bread. After you expanded more you can begin stocking more easily. At about size 1000 4 of each stuff, cakes, pies etc is adequate between boats. Some 15 each of dairy, jams, sugars. Do not bother with stuff that can be done under 30 minutes or stuff you find easily for sell. You can always fill a truck for points and cash.
