Ihave spent a small tons on buying diamonds. I really don't mind it's all in fun. But in heavens name does things have to be so hard. I am working my butt off playing the boat challenge. And just when I thought I could win the 25 diamonds the last boat ask for impossible items. I give up. You guys are just mean.
Why not skip the boat and call another in then?
Even if you have to spend 5 to 10 Diamonds calling in boats, you will still make a net profit of 15 to 20 Diamonds.

You also can advertise in the newspaper with boat help request. Use 10 wheat full price, indigo full price, or any item that is hard to sell so your ad with help request stays longer in the newspaper. You will be surprised kind-hearted strangers fill up your crates even with difficult items like sugar, dairy, fish, etc.
I dont see how it was so difficult. I started the boat event with only a bit over 2 days left and i still got the 25 diamonds without having to spend any on calling boats early.
this time it was much better than the last time with the 22 boats, 22 is just too much...
had a day and few houres left when i got to the 12 boats, only had to send 2 of them away, and also with no diamonds spend...
Imagine if this game told us, "I hate you back!" in some cheerful pastel Hay Day cursive.
I think that would make me fall head over heels for Hay Day all over again. :D
(p.s. Sorry to hear about the bad boat, OP. I'm a big fan of asking the DD for help too. That's some great advice!)

Thanks guys for. All your support. I think I will just skip the next challenge that way I won't be disappointed. I am in a neighborhood and do advertise all the time . I also have over 400 followers. But how many people have extra apple jelly or goat cheese? They are hard thing to make.

I finished 11 boats. But there was the 4 hr delay on the boat, the event had something like 11 minutes till the end. So there was no way to do a 12th boat. :-(
Yeah the boat event can get quite challenging for players. I feel your frustration.
