Whats up with the site? Cant get it to load, servers down?
A few replies:
* I've had a few people asking to rotate the map but there are a slew of problems but it's mainly the bug in jquery (which handles everything) where droppables don't work well with rotated elements. Just gotta get used to it =(
* To be honest, I totally forgot about the initial positioning for T6 - T8 while I was working through other things. I'll take care of that tonight
* As far as defensive positioning on the map, it would be a nice feature but it's gonna take a backseat to a lot of other things that are more important.
This site is amazing. I also met my girl friend there!!!
Nothing turns me on more than a girl who knows how to fortify her resources. Er, wait, that's not true...Quote:

Moving right along... I've updated the presets for level 5, 6, 7 and 8 bases. The structures will now be located at the bottom of the screen upon initial base creation.
This program doesnt seem to work with Mozilla Firefox at all.
When I Shift the building, it moves back to the original spot.
But when I use on Google Chrome, it works fine.
Anybody else ?
Hey neggs could you check your mail box on here please? I sent a pm regarding my acc on the website hoping to get it sorted, thanks :)
To those who are having issues with shifting buildings. I don't have a problem in any browser, all of them work well (other then IE because the site doesn't support it). Since people are reporting the issue with multiple browsers, perhaps it's something related to javascript? Ensure sure you have javascript enabled in your browser.
If not that, is it specific to a plan? As in, do you have issues with any pre-created plan or new plan? You said you'd move the object and then it would just snap back to it's original location? But you could actually drag it to begin with, right?
As far as browser versions, it worked for me in Firefox 18.0.2 and Chrome 23.0.1271.101.
GIve me all the information you can on the subject please.
It's because one of the previous buildings shifted was not fitted properly to the tiles. If a previous building is hovering over lines, it will not allow you to shift another building. Fix the previous building first, make sure when you drop a building, it's fitted properly on the squares/tiles.
The site performance regarding this seems to have improved recently - the buildings are snapping to the tiles faster and more securely. Did you do anything to update this Neggs?
When people said they had issues with objects not being able to shift properly or places that they couldnt be dropped I had tried to replicate the issue so that I could fix it. I couldn't replicate it on any browser. Which led me to believe that it's possible that it may have been people either on slow computers or just slow browser performance which could probably play havoc with the droppable code stuff.
Since the code was updated recently and the speed greatly increased, I had assumed these problems would be nullified greatly. Here's to hoping.
