yes they are good, the are strong in decent size armies (10+). Their weaknesses are low health and can be taken out in a large group if released all together and then hit by an air bomb, so be careful to test out an area with a couple first before releasing many together.

But yes, Minions are finding their place in legit CoC play (unlike Hog Riders).
BAM armies are the newest trend. And I have seen high level raids using maxed Ballons and Minions, or Dragons and Minions.
Personally, I always pack at least 10 or 20 in my farming armies to use when no other troop will do...
Also, they are particularly usefull for taking out the BK, once he has been drawn out of range from Defensive Buildings by Barbs or Archers....
Me, I love Minions. Experiment for yourself to see if they work for you....

I recently got my minions up to level 3, and I like them a lot! I agree with the previous post, that they are particularly useful for taking out the Barbarian King after luring him away from other defenses. Note that they don't have a favorite target, which can make them hard to control. If you aren't careful, they will cluster and get taken out by an air bomb (red), or they will waste time on unimportant targets right in front of a wizard tower. I recommend using them in packs of 10-15, but spread them out a bit.
Yes, they are really good, i use them to take AD shots to protect my healer with a healer/giant. Plus they also have a very good dps, and are as fast as gobs.
Air bomb can take down a mass of minions cuz of there low hp.Quote:
