allow holding 3 armies instead of 2

in the old system, we could hypothetically hold over 3 armies if we had a full army and all 6 barracks full, so i think we should still be able to hold 3 armies like we used to, but still using the new system

2 armies is too little if you train all of them because after you raid the barracks are empty

or maybe 2.5 armies is fairer?

In the old system there would be 2 armies stuck in your barracks. They would not actually be done training.
With the new system you have 440 space of actually trained up troops.

but if i were to search for an attack for half an hour then the 2 armies would finish training

I agree. It would make it easier to sort donation troops too. It's fine if only 480 of 720 were pre-built (TH10).

We are lucky that supercell agreed to put double the army , I think 2''s enough

And as djaroela said in the old system can only have 1 army , and the troops will be stuck (without training )

In the old system, even if you searched for 30 minutes, you still only came back to a partially trained army. Because only the first troop in that line was done and maybe a few more if they were tier 1 troops. The new system lets you come back to a full army ready to go.

The only reason to really have more than 1 extra army stored is to hide elixir in your barracks from being raided. I understand the value of doing that, having done it myself when I was lower TH. But the truth is I always thought that was odd and it took away potential loot from the game.

In the end, I prefer they limit this more and would be ok if troops in barracks didnt have their loot taken out of the raid availability.

If 3 armies were trained then it would be too OP becoz with 2 armies training I m now able to attack 24 armies in a day if 3 were there then it would go to 36 armies even if I would be farming then also I would automatically get pushed up into masters at least.

true the last paragraph sure i wouldnt care because i dont store loot like that so i would be fine with it

Hi,

I support this request.

Especially in higher leagues with the old system one had the second army ready when returning from search and attack, and already a good part of the next army (2 golem, 3 pekka and 1 healer were ready when stacked in the queues appropriately).

I also upgraded the barracks to lvl 10 for lots of expensive elixir in order to be able toset up the queues accordingly (no need for the baby dragon though), and the dark barracks to lvl 6 to be able to queue 3 golems (paid lots of elixir and spent quite some gems to finish the barracks, only to just having been ripped off this achievement shortly thereafter by the new training system.

Even though I could stack 3 armies before the update, I would be satisfied with 2 1/2. As others have already stated, this would also help with donations and with the problem of the quick train option, where you can not use quick train if there is even only one troop still in the barracks, that you may have prepared for donation on request of a clan member.

I like to buy permanent upgrades. I just have the 5 builders and I don't want to buy more gems. But, if I can buy more armies, I'll buy more gems :cool:

Sell one more army (if you have 220 cap, you will go to 660) by 1500 gems;
Sell two more armies( if you have 220 cap, you will go to 880) by 4500 gems;

Values for example.

But that wasn't the point behind my post. Two armies has created 4x confusion and complaint about hero regen time. Three armies will create 8x.

Barracks are only idle when all troops are trained.

Larger training queues with larger numbers of troops ore-trained have proven to be an issue for many people and the number of troops AVAILABLE to any army does not increase regardless of how you twist the words.

The limitation for most people will be hero regen times, as currently identified with TWO complete army queues.

As I said in my first post in this thread, at least wait until people learn to cope with the current system before asking for increases. Countless threads demonstrate that's not happening yet.

Why first get used to a suboptimal system and then have to get used to the optimized one again?

Quite often one has some troops left from the attack and then he has to delete them first to be able to use the quick train feature. Also if you come back from a raid and want to train a few troops for donation they block the quick train buttons. Just 2.5 armys space in the queue would solve many of the problems the new system is generating. And those who do not get along with it should just not use the extra half army space. if you always use the quick train system and never train troops for donation on request of your clan mates, you won't even recognize that something has changed.

You want to have 3 armies ready to go at any given time? That sounds like greed to me. I think the capacity of the current system is great. One army ready to go, another on standby, or if you prefer, as I do, a set of donation troops on standby. What could you possibly need 3 armies for (besides double the donation troops, which is the only real practical use for this idea)?

And, by the way, I have upgraded barracks just for having more space, so if i come back from a long raid, the next army is ready and the first troops of the then next army are already training.
Might not be such a problem in lower leagues, but in titan, you can be stuck in the clouds quite a while.

I'd rather have 2 and a half armys than two and a half men ;-)

Also before it was much easier to donate, because with the single barracks there was often one barrack idle while the others were finishing, so this one could be used to produce donation troops.
I am seeing quite a decrease in troop donatons because of this new system.

For donating, i just remove 5~10 space of background-army, put the request troop in the first place of queue and donate after completed '-'

No, if you were searching for a very very long time, only the second army would be ready. The third one would be idle because of full army camps.

Old system : 1 army at the same time.
New system : 2 army at the same time.

yes for donating but also it would help so troops wouldnt not be training in between attacks which would maximize efficiency (2.5 armies would solve this as well)
