Friends Able to Send Clan Invites to Clan Members?

Big problem, here. I don't know how many people have noticed, but if you send a friend request to someone, they are able to send clan invites to people who are already in a clan. Yes, you read that correctly.

Currently, I'm not sure if it doesn't work when your clan is set to closed, but I noticed that after my leader set the clan to invite only, that's when some friends of mine started receiving clan invites from people on their friend list, despite my friends already being in a clan. At the moment, this is tearing my clan apart, as we kicked some long time members who had been causing us to LOSE members, due to their arrogant and belittling behaviours towards their fellow members. Now, they are sending invites to members of our clan, so that they can join theirs instead.

Forget making random people Co, only to turn around and see they've kicked everyone lower. This friendship addition is going to cause an even bigger problem, and it already is for our clan. Is anyone else having this same problem? Has anyone else noticed this? Please, Supercell really needs to fix this.

If your clan members are happy in your clan this will not cause any problems. If they are not then they'll be likely to leave anyway, whether they get an invitation or not.

That's not the point, though. You shouldn't be able to send clan invites to people already in a clan to begin with.

You said this was a big problem. It's not. It may or may not be a bug, but if it is it's a minor one

I think it is better this way .

I'm unable to reproduce this. Both my clan and my friend's clan are invite only. We still have to leave our clans before receiving invites. Are you sure your clanmates are getting invites before they leave? Maybe they're leaving and then getting invites.

But I've always thought you should be able to either invite or chat with people in other clans. A lot of players have friends in several clans and it's nice to hop around sometimes to chat or war with other friends.

Oh derp! I wasn't an elder since I just rejoined. Yes, both if I'm elder or co I can send invited to people in clans. This is awesome! I love this update.

This is a new feature inputted with the latest update. You can invite a friend from your list, even if they're currently in a clan.

Seems broken now. Guy coming back. but visited old clan to donate war troop. I normally send invite to such if 'friends' so they don't have to wait outside. don't work now. Plus haven't got option of inviting 'friends' from sister clan.
