I like it, but you have to consider it's my first Halloween.

For players on their 3rd or 4th Halloween it would just feel like rehash.

Since I've been playing from Dec 2015 we have had.
*March 16: Edit Mode - I love it but admittedly don't have anywhere near as big a farm as some others.

...and believe it or not that's it. Only those 2 major updates with 3 key changes since December 2015 when I started. That is probably the biggest problem, the updates are very infrequent. I think what we have got in the updates is good, but it's always a very long wait between them.

By the time we get another update it will be about a 4 month gap.

Would you please clarify what you meant by HD isn't "getting as much love as it possibly could"? Is it more resources or attention or something else?

I also like to compare HD with CoC since they went live and were released globally within a few months of each other. While CoC has become a bigger hit and generated more revenue than HD, I'm speculating both teams are still quite small because per Supercell culture, game teams are kept small so they stay focus on the creative vision.

Why, I wonder, has Team Clash of Clans shipped more updates than Team Hay Day? Is it because THD is following some road map and has reached a consensus that like all games, HD has a specific shelf life and shipping more updates would accelerate the aging process and end development faster?

Maybe the lamp post will be available this year as it has been featured in last years and this years theme pic. Oh, that's the same pic. Ok. Maybe not then. Only time will tell.

Yup, I did the same thing.. "where have I seen that before" was my very first thought yesterday.

It made me laugh too, I very much appreciate your wit Besta �� It helps to keep us all a little more sane than we might otherwise be.

I remember Mini being decidely unimpressed last year when it didn't appear on our deco list! Lots of others too. Not that it makes a blind bit of difference mind you :facepalm: I'm looking forward to seeing what the new deco is like...and what the global prize is. We could start guessing...
