Has the creative team been fired?

* No new ideas for Summer clothing animals
* No new ideas for Halloween clothing animals
* Halloween theme and deco exact as last year
* Edit mode can't nearly be used because everything moves
* Thousands of new ideas being put here and just a taco stand and tea stand. Thank you for that :D
* Nothing is happening in town anymore since 2 years (I don't count the 6 extra people in Town)
* Nothing has happened in fishing area for 1 year

A game that doesn't innovate will not grow, but die slowly. Is it possible SC wants HayDay to stop?
Or are the game developers having a long and big development and creative block? Or are they just fired?

This thread sounds very negative. I hope this can be altered by the team. This might be accomplished by:

* Grand new winter theme (i don't think anything can be done to fall and Halloween theme anymore except maybe re-hiring the development team)
* A Christmas theme that is talked about years to come with grab and dump event :)
* A grand new theme somewhere

As it is now, i recommend Hay Day to shut down the ideas part of this forum :D

Per the Supercell website, they rotate people in and out of their teams to bring fresh eyes to their games. Supercell recently posted a job announcement to hire a Game Artist for Clash of Clans. Maybe someone from CoC will join Team Hay Day and inject some new ideas, reinvigorate the game, and extend its life cycle?

I know you're joking but I disagree because the ideas subforum is not just for Team Hay Day to read but for all players so that we may discuss and inspire each other with our new ideas.

So much potential...minimal effort. That pretty much sums up these recycled seasonal themes for long time players. I guess some like things recycled with no need for change. Fantastic.

Crossing fingers and toes for the "next big update". Nick likes to hype those things up so expectations must be tempered.

I love all the Halloween theme even if it is the same and I'm happy is here and I understand there is a lot of new people playing that don't have the "old" decorations but I think for all the loyal and old players HD should have put something new in the optional update, I hope , fingers crossed,,, it will come with the big update,,,

Simple reasoning says, if they normally shuffle artists around (note the term they use is artist not coders - significant when it comes to progress of the game in certain aspects) and there is now an opening available somewhere, that someone quit or involuntarily left... no?

And to be brutally frank the lack of creativity lately is eye opening. The pink trees that came with one package were obviously based off the last round of fruit trees we got and the most recent wisteria is almost a recolored pink tree.

I haven't been around as long; almost a year; but do very much get a sense that it's not getting as much love as it possibly could. Certainly not at the same level as love Clash does, while I understand Clash makes more $$$; so you naturally expect it to get a bit more love.

Since I've been playing from Dec 2015 we have had.
*March 16: Edit Mode - I love it but admittedly don't have anywhere near as big a farm as some others.
*June 16: Neighborhood trading - Very useful feature but more restrictive that many of us will like.
*June 16: Lots of new food/machines - Only higher levels are qualified to comment there.

...and believe it or not that's it. Only those 2 major updates with 3 key changes since December 2015 when I started. That is probably the biggest problem, the updates are very infrequent. I think what we have got in the updates is good, but it's always a very long wait between them.

By the time we get another update it will be about a 4 month gap.

I agree with you, and that's why I stopped playing slowly.
