As a max th9 in Titan, I get that I will be crushed by a th10 or 11. It also happens elsewhere, just not as often. I propose that Trophies have the same spiff or penalty as loot when attacking up or down a town hall level (or two).

I agree, you get 20% less loot if you attack a village which has a town hall one level below and you get 50% less loot if you attack a village which has a town hall two level below. Same formula could be applied to trophy system. But it should be analysied carefully since trophies are generated only at lower leagues, ay higher leagues they are just transfered from loser to winner and trophies are reset at the end of league at legend league. So, the game is one "in" and one "out" door and well balanced in terms of trophies. If villages which have higher town hall lebel will get less trophies for attacking lower town hall levels and trophy pushing will be harder since there is already scarcity of offline villages at higher trophies. I'm at legend league and average waiting time in clouds is an hour. I'm not sure how the waiting time in clouds will be affected if there will be such a change in trophy system
