2 Daimonds for the Maintainence?

Hey Hay Day,

You gave us two daimonds for the maintainence? Is this the first time or appears everytime?

It happens on occasion. Not the first time, nor every time.

Think of it as compensation for the maintenance break.

And probably because we lost the first few minutes of the derby lol

We usually give out some diamonds as compensation for those affected if a maintenance takes longer than expected, or if we (like today) have to do 2 in a row.

Normally our maintenances last for approx. 15-18 minutes, and we try to schedule them when the Derby is on pause.

I tried to connect to play when the derby started, I tried to connect for 10 minutes when I gave up and went to sleep. But I didn't receive any diamonds lol. I guess they're giving them randomly..

The Derby started quite a few hours ago, and the time-window to get diamonds as compensation is pretty short (ones affected). When the maintenance happens you need to login within x-amount of hours to get the diamonds. They are not randomly handed out.

Oh, I see. That's why I didn't get diamonds from the mailman this morning when I logged in. Had I logged in a few hours after the start of the Derby, I would have received the two diamonds.

Possibly yes since they are meant for the ones affected by a downtime. :) People sleeping/offline while we do a maintenance are not directly affected.

I know, and personally I find that really frustrating. Derby Pause always, always covers the weekend event.

If you ask me, having the full 4 days there is far more important than losing time during derby.

Every farmer is eligible for events [well level dependent]. Derby however has many thousands of farmers opted out who couldn't care less about it.
