That can be avoided by cycling bases as OP suggested and make use of that feature as well.

Stop new people from seeing Traps CC troops and HTs. Please. So simple.

you really want your special friend to come into your clan to advise you on some war thing? Ok, new people promoted to elder can see the traps.

Cycling bases? Massive pain, completely unrealistic. You might do it one or two cycles, but seriously, you want to make your whole clan, or at least the top end cycle their bases? Nutty.

Recruiting through global is like selecting the orphaned poor from the marketplace. They are desperate, don't know much, and won't be loyal. Recruiting from global will ruin your clan if it is any good to start with.

Recruit from real life. Or the forums.

Unfortunately everyone i know quit and are instead playing PG and unfortunately forums are just as much as a gamble as global

It'll be simple if they implement it for everyone. Like none can see your traps. But making it for specific players for specific defenses is not simple. It's not like you can just tick and unpick option and it's done. There's lot of coding and logic involved.
