Add a feature so that a coleader can overthrow the leader

My clan's leader has not been online for more than a year. And there are many members who are inactive coleaders too in our clan. It has been quite a problem for us to take in new members....

I hope Supercell team can add a feature where a coleader (either one) can overtake the leader's place when the leader does not online for a specific period of time (e.g. One week or one month) so that we can do our clan a spring cleaning.

We love our clan very much and don't wanna leave.. we have remained like this for more than a year already by just few old members

It would be convenient for us (and probably some other clans too) if a coleader can overtake the inactive leader's place to manage the clan easier:o

If your leader no longer plays the game, you can contact Supercell Support and ask to remove him to remove him. But they'd never put something like that in the hands of players.

This is a good idea, i think 3 months inactivity.
But just for the sake of security/fairness, the system should be set so the overthrown leader will regain leadership back as soon he gets back online.

there should be a rule if leader is inactive for more than 6 months that the leadership would be voted by the clan automatically/.

Yeah, after all these months of inconveniences, i finally decided to bring up this idea which has been dwelling in my mind for months.

voting would be a great idea, let active members register within a given time before election starts. Just like in reality hahaha

Thank you, i would try that too, but just give this thread a few weeks, see if it sinks or floats.

Instead of this suggestion , I suggest
Game should detect an account for being inactive for nearly 2-3 months ( approx. ) .In this situation , user should receive a warning mail for his account . After all , the proceedings might take place.
According to your suggestion
Co-leaders might be free to abuse their powers , to throw away the leader and that would spoil the whole play.
And also according to the other situation : If a leader gets overthrown , there might be a voting poll b/w Co-leaders itself

I am a leader and that would be a horiable idea,sometimes when you are on a trip or something like that for maybe 1 month and cant play, you want a co leader to take over my clan because of that. I normally pick a co leader that start wars and so when I cant play.
Im sorry to say this but I think the best thing you can do is to eheiter contact supercell or start a new clan.

Do you plan to overthrow your leader???

No offense but i do not think this is a good idea though.Because if this feature is added then coleaders might abuse this power (I think so).Well if there is many inactive players then you should make a new clan with active players though(Just saying don't take it offensive).

that'd be an exploit too?? i don't know :(
