Add revenge shield

1 hour ago I was attacked then I have immediately tapped revenge button but village already have active shield. It might probably attacked while shielded. Those days people attack while shielded so they can conserve loot and cups and etc. so they can upgrade stuff. I'm in need of revenge so here it is: revenge shield.

Revenge shield in a nutshell:
Revenge shield can prevent regular attacks but NOT REVENGE, without undermining the true point of shield.

How it works
To understand this, you must read how our old system is in trouble.
1. We can't revenge them immediately
2. People attack while shielded as one of abusive use of shield.
3. After guard has ended, there would quick replace to under attack.

This is frustrating, especially to players who have lost A LOT OF trophies and cant revenge. This system should be needed in serious fix.

So how revenge shield works.
Example if revenge shield is not implemented:
Player B attacks player A.
Scenario A:If player A would start clash a bit late, player C attacks already player B, that prevent revenge and have new 12-16 hour wait
Revenge shield implemented:
Player A is attacked by player B and player B awards 12-16 hours of revenge shield depending on total damage. So player C cannot attack player B and player A can revenge player B as long as he/she have revenge shield.

Scenario B:
Player B attacks while in 16 hours of shield to player A.
Due to 3 hours deducted duration player B would have 13 hour protection plus 30 min. of guard.
Due to this player A cannot attack.

When revenge shield is implemented:
Player B can not only deduct 3 hours of shield time, but also gain 12-16 hours of revenge "window time" so as long as player B have those 12-16 hours player A can revenge until it ends. After the revenge shield then a normal shield/guard should be replaced depending of what player B's shield have before.

Conclusion:
Revenge shield could open up a opportunity for you to revenge. In those 12-16 hours you will revenge your opponent as long as he/she have revenge shield.

I hope developers, moderators and game specialists should read this to speak out what problems are suffering to the revenge system and help fix the broken revenge problem.

if any of you guys are online and viewing this thread pls read my post so supercell staff should be read to solve the problem of revenge.

Interesting ideal ...... how about being able to pay gems so that you can attack someone that has a shield or a way to request to revenge if someone is online.

No, the need for a shield to function as expected is greater than the need for revenge. Why do you need revenge? Is it an emotional thing, or can you not find anyone else to attack? Did the invaders kidnap your Archer Queen?

What if the other person is planning on a war attack an hour from now? What if they have precisely calculated the number of attacks and hours left on their shield to finally get that 7 million elixir needed to start an upgrade?

The revenge system does not work. It never has. Move on.

the real point for revenge is to retake trophies or resources. If you do not want to revenge, then you will left with no resources.

who is online read pls so moderators will read this revenge idea.

Don't need to make changes to the shield system. It is frustrating to never be able to revenge someone with the shields. I would make a quick view system as you scroll down your defenses. Have a shield or guard icon showing on each one with an active shield, and a green light or something to show when they're available for attacking.

Another possibility would be requesting push notifications for when a base is available. You could set a max of one or two bases to notify you when they're available for attacking.

You forgot to mention people also attack under shield because they have an overwhelming desire to revenge,
Note “desire” is not “need”. Cups and loot is just as good in multiplayer and in most cases it’s easy to find the right target.

Revenge doesn’t need changing. Revenge works well in lower less competitive Leagues. Remember it’s a two-way street too.

Revenge needs to be changed in higher leagues (gold leagues and beyond) to make it work well on higher leagues. What if you have been three-starred then you have lost 200000+ elixir then you never revenge em?

Oh come on for the sake of players pls add revenge shield to ensure all players would revenge...to those who read this idea keep the idea alive if not then i'll say to mods to delete this thread if it was 1 year old after the last reply. I want revenge right now.

Or consider the solution here: if the player is already shielded ( can't attavk, village has active shield, try again in hh:mm:ss:) then there should show the time where the shield was plus the guard time (potential guard time) and add "notify me" then grey out revenge button if the player is unavailable for revenge.
