A tip for players who are angry at engineered players and a solution as well

Hi guys,
I am posting this because I have faced engineered players alot.
I even faced faced with th11 engineered and lower ones as well.and I even destroyed a th11 with a th5.
And we even won some and tied some but not lost those wars.I will tell you how we did that first of all you need to learn strategies random attacking might work but not a right way to do it ,ok now come to the point second the player who's mirror is rushed he attacks the rusher if he loses someone else clears it.
But for doing that you need to have active and good attacker in your clan.
Now I will tell you what is the level of rushers in your league
1.As th 5 and lower your rusher mirror has no heroes (atleast that's what happens with us)
2.at th6 rusher(your mirror) might have heroes but not 100%.
3.at th7 to th10 your rusher opponent might have defences and heroes ,but low level and the level increases as th grows
For example if you are a th10 you might face up with level 10 warden or BK and AQ of level20 but not maxed and there defence will not be maxed as well.



Those who still think they can't defeat rushers than SC can this

1. Put a limit that a player should have this much defences than he can enter in war .
Or
2.Banned the player for sometime if he is a rusher and he enters the war. But not permenantly band.
Or
3.Put requirements before upgrading a th for example he must have some defences before upgrading his th.

These are my suggestions

And I am not on the side of anyone I am just enjoying the game and want to stop this fight about engineering.

You are right there are many suggestions but this is not for nerf its for giving information how to win wars or tie with engineered clans

People keep saying nerf in same way or another but the true fix is/what engineer clans hate facing is a clan that focus on offense over defense but not being lopsided.

My clan could do this better but we are offensive over defense and had won 7/8 engineer clans, we lost the one cause we played horribly at all levels it was well deserved.

I have a feeling that the people crying about engineer clans are the ones with max th9 15/15 heroes or max th10 25/25 heroes rosters, like ofc you gonna get rekt.

you are right i think people don't even try to win against engineer clans thats all
those who are asking for nerf the engineer accounts they just dont even try
i have won every war against engineer clan sometime ties but not lost

The idea of going to The Shop and buying all the available defenses when you upgrade your TH seems like an excellent idea. Where do I sign up for that???

Th5 and below if they face a rusher they will not have any heroes even if he is th11 (atleast that's what happens with us).
Th6 might face with a rusher which has heroes but not 100%.
Th7 and up will face up with a rusher who will have heroes but he won't have max defence or heroes.

Ok for those who think they can't defeat rushers then I have these idea's that SC should do.

OR
2.Bann those players who are rushers and they joined a war . But they shouldn't be permenantly banned.

3.Add a requirements for upgrading th
For example
Upgrading th7 to th8 that player should have bought every new stuff from shop or he is a max of th6.
These are my suggestions tell me which one you liked it.


And i am not on the side of anyone I just want to enjoy the game and stop this fighting about engineering.

Faced engineered clans only 5 times, won 4. The one lost is our fault, a result of bad management ( 3 staring 1, but leaving a th9 2 stared).
Golden role : keep atleast 3 Maxed out TH11s with good anti-3 design who take pride on being good attackers.
I know they will have more attacks on our top 3. But engineering bases with 40-40 heros are hard to come by.
I don't want engineering thing to end tbh, because this distinguish between clans. Some clans start crying and some say 'bring it on'.

If your roster was all TH8s-Th7s, the opponents clan could easily have a max TH10 sat at the top with a 9.5 underneath, 2 or 3 x th8's, few 7's with just dragons unlocked and the rest junk lvl 3/4/5's to offset the weight of the top two bases.

How would your strategy beat this clan? You might two star the 9.5 if you're a genius attacker or it is a real bad base layout but 1 star off a max Th10, if that.

They will trash your bases with ease and perfect you. You'll be lucky to get 3 less than perfect....Then you will have been beaten by an engineered clan.

You could be the greatest clasher in the world but you could not ever 3 star a max TH10 with TH8 troops...
(Even if the base design was a troll layout, I doubt it could be done).


The above is an example of why some clashers have strong issues with engineered bases in clan wars.
I can see their point. There are dozens of ideas for potential solutions floating about and some are really "enlightened" ideas.
Those whom engineering really affects on a regular basis are hoping SC tries to level the playing field some more.

hey sorry i am not in my clan for now its closed i am in a clan with 3 to 4 th11 and we just did a 50 vs 50 war and my mirror was th11 rusher and i got 3 star

You are correct. Some get it & some don't. It has nothing to do with attack skill. My clan wins a lot (just lost a 13-win streak). We have very good attackers, but still don't think an engineered clan with less skill should have a better chance of winning.

I haven't seen anyone complain about attacking rushed bases. Not a hard thing to 3-star. It's about that rusher having much better troops & attacking far up the map. Wars with mixed TH's are won at the top.

i declined to call them engineers. MOST of them are nothing but rushers, MOST of them are not capable of 3 star a th9 with th9 offense thats why they choose to go around street .AND YES THEY SUCKS

.5 is not the same as a "rushed base"

And I bet none of these players who constantly whine about .5 complain when they are stomping out .5 bases while farming. They take the easy loot and run. If your clan is good, .5 bases aren't a big deal. Wars are won or lost up top. If these "engineered clans" top bases are light on defense, they will constantly be giving up perfect wars.

A .5 is still a strong base, my 10.5 has yet to be 3 starred in match making. Sure sometimes that one person comes along and grabs a few storages but they are far and few in between. Every troop so far has been nerfed and cannot 3 star even a .5 anymore so we are very safe.

If they don't mess with the .5 and engineering advantages this update I am likely to stay a 10.5. it's much easier and more fun to just not have to work on new defenses for years to come and I can just focus on maxing any new war troops.

No need to be sorry.
You did not give a "war example", you just gave some "tips" about how to beat engineered clans.
All I was saying was that those "tips" will have no effect against an engineered clan when, as per my example, the war cannot be won unless the enemy makes serious mistakes.

By the way, mirrors have nothing to do with your matched opponent. The enemy bases are ordered on defensive strength on the war map.

Your mirror on the map is there because the base above has stronger defence overall and the base below has weaker defence, overall.
That particular base may be rushed or engineered but if it is in amongst your enemy's TH6's and 7's, it is highly likely that the base defences are under-developed for the TH lvl and that that players offensive capabilities are far greater than those TH lvls either side.

The above is achieved either through rushing to a specific TH or "engineering a base" to favour strong offence over defence.

This hypothetical war match up suggested would be due to war roster management. This is more of a problem than engineering bases. Having max th bases on top with empty bases bottom is the real problem. Let's not place blame on the bases but where it really belongs on the ability to manipulate match ups based on empty bases on the bottom.

.5 bases are a legitimate upgrade path. Defenseless/wall less bases are an exploit of the game. My clan of mixed TH from 10 down to th4's, faces TRUELY engineered clans about 2/3 of the time these last couple months.
While we still win a majority of the conflicts it is aggravating on several levels. 1st: there is no joy or skill involved in destroying a defenseless base, so my teammates gain no experience. 2nd: the number of dummy bases at the lower end ensure that even with a victory several of our members with get very low loot bonus as they were forced to clear a bunch of th3's.
Basically fighting an engineered clan ruins the fun of war regardless of win/lose. When we war we want opponents that give us a good fight and forces us to use our best attacks.
sidenote: last war we wreaked an engineered clan's 18 win streak. They had 3 th10's and 12 th9's compared to our 3 th10's and 4 th9's. While it felt great to destroy their record, the number of dummy accounts with low loot bonus made the victory bitter.

It is a legitimate upgrade path indeed but I find it alot more fun just staying there. I've been at Th10.5 since a few weeks after Th11 came out and I can say with all the troop nerfs its just as hard attacking TH10's. Even with TH11 troops it's still a 2 star attack each and every war for me, that's a slow game killer right there that may make me delete the game if it stays like that.

For me as a so-so attacker I can only hope for new OP troops to come out to use against those TH10's or wait until TH12 and basically because a TH10.75 and completely steam roll any TH10 or 11. Because no matter what SC does it seems they don't want any 3 star wars unless your a pro attacker. So the only option for most is to match one or two town halls below if you want to have fun 3 starring.

Point taken - bad example and you are most certainly right about bottom end fillers causing most of the lopsided wars.

He he...let me try again:

20v20:
Clan 1 - Few TH8, bulk of TH9 and 2 x TH10 at the top.
Clan 2 - 3 max TH10, 4 TH8.5's, 1 x TH11 defenceless, 4 TH9s, a few TH8's and then TH3-5's to fill out.

This kind of match up would/does happen... it has happened to my clan in the past.
The th11 triples 1 and 2, the th10s triple to top 6 th9s and the th 9's + 8.5s triple the rest leaving the the bottom 3 or 4 bases for the 8's to triple = perfect 60 star war.

Clan 1 does not have the fire power to replicate the same level of attacks and unless it goes Pete Tong for clan 2, the war is over before its started.

It is disheartening for clan 1 and a walk in the park for clan 2.

The above is a better example of both engineering bases to keep war weight down and also roster engineering to further lower war weight.

Since we, as a clan, started to draw these types of matches, we have learnt and for want of a better, very much over used word on the forums, adapted.

We now match similarily balanced clans and if we do run into a proper engineering outfit, it is not an issue due to our own war base roster.

If we fancy a troll type war, I will manipulate the roster to give us an easy match up so we can have some fun but still win. (That said, the last troll war did not go to plan and we lost but still had fun doing it).

You certainly can't win 'em all but for some clans, it seems to be an obsession.
For me and most of my clan, it's about having fun whilst playing a mobile phone game.

People who talk about their mirror don't understand what an engineered clan is trying to achieve.

Engineered clans don't care if your th 7 3 stars their defenseless townhall 11. What they care about is making it impossible for your top 5 to 3 star any their top 2 and to make is easy to get 100% war.

It seems as though engineered bases are here to stay so get used to it.... Possibly make some of your own and enjoy the havoc that they can cause in a war. They are mainly not used for defense, purely offense, as to cover the back of the uppers in war...

i made my own as well and i am enjoying it
one more thing some said they can't win from their top three.its not impossible we always did perfect on engineer clan and mostly they lost one star or maybe perfect but we did not lost
and,one more thing you should have backup for top 1 in your war that's useful.
but every has there own thoughts i give up.

how about they make the war matchmaking according to the troops level not with the defence
this will be good for rushers and max players

I would never propose a ban or penalty on someone for being a good customer (.5ers buy and spend gems!) who is doing nothing outside the game's rules. I think an advanced/improved MM system is a simpler and more elegant way to go.

You haven't faced a good engineered clan if you can still perfect them.

Ban all th11s without bows, infernos and artillery That is cheating end of the story.
