This match up is so bad I feel bad for my enemy.

How the ♥♥♥♥ did supercell give us this match up. We're on a 11 win streak and supercell just gifted us 12.

Our number 1 is a 100% max 11. Our 2 and 3 are 10.5s the rest of our clan are 9s/8.5s

Their 1 is a rushed th10 with low walls.
Their 2 is also a rushed th10

The rest of their clan are 9s and 8.5s

How the ♥♥♥♥ did supercell make this match up I feel so bad for the other clan and the impossible to win war to receive they will get absolutely slaughtered

Someone explain this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOL I mean I'm on the winning side but I really need an explanation here lol

If you wanna be nice, have your top 2 TH11's drop their TH outside their walls and change your clan description to encourage the looting of your top 2. You'll perfect war them anyway, so even giving up 1*s on your top 2 still leaves them no chance to win, but they can get a decent loss bonus from it and carry on.

That's what I'd do anyway :)

Like this one doesn't even make any sense. They need to make it so that it is impossible for a max 11 to be on top if the other clan has a 10 on top

and yet matching changes in the spring stated they were focusing more of top matching so this very thing didn't happen.

we don't war currently because of all the engineering, so I don't know how matching has been personally, but this surely wouldn't encourage us to dip our toe back into the pool.:saywhat:

you gotta stop complainging about engineering its really not that big of a deal. it can be an issue but if you guys are good attackers its still normallly fair

Well... your #2 isn't a 10.5 - it's got level 1 infernos, and otherwise mostly TH9 level guns. It's an engineered account with a war weight of a very low/rushed TH10. Your #3 is a fully engineered 9.11 with no infernos, and the guns that carry significant war weight at TH9 level, and the guns that are undervalued up near max TH10. Your #4 is a 9.5 with TH9 guns. And then at the bottom you have the obligatory low TH/defenceless with almost zero war weight to get your average down so that you're likely to outweigh the enemy at the top (at least in the clan you do - I'm guessing they are in the war). A better choice of gun upgrades than most - someone knows their item weights - but otherwise that's the full set of the common engineering techniques atm: max #1; big gap below it that's unlikely to match a normal clan; lopsided bases giving extra 'free' offence; junk bases at the bottom to lower the average.

PS - the enemy is of course unlucky that there's a mismatch in the #1 spot. But with such a large gap (max TH11 to weight of a garbage TH10) between #1 and #2 it's relatively uncommon to find a random, normal clan which matches. So the server will eventually have to serve you up the least bad match it can find - and sometimes that will be TH10/9 clan that matches on weight everywhere except slot #1

then I read this comment. The former makes far more sense in light of the latter, it all makes sense now...

Yep, just doubled checked and everything onyx said is spot on.

This is exactly engineering and exactly the type of matchups engineering is designed to pull. Not sure why the OP feels bad about this matchup now, isn't that exactly what his clan is going for?

Naw man, this isnt even competitive. and our 2/3 should be pulling tens and our 1 should be pulling a max 11.

in the current situation the other clan doesnt even have a th11 to fight with which is just horse ♥♥♥♥ for them.

what im trying to say is even if were engineering which some of our top accounts are doing the match up should not be this bad in our favour. supercell should use this war as an example of fixing the system because there i no way a max th11 should not match up against another max th11 on the otherside.

OnyxDS https://forum-content.supercell.com/...post-right.png has told you why this match up happened, you have extreme low defense bases at the bottom that balanced out the heavy weight of your th11.

You gamed the match making by engineering and you got what you wanted. I don't know why you are confused.
