Why is duct tape SO rare?!

Yes, why is duct tape SO rare?!

I can sell almost 100-150+ planks and bolts before I get enough duct tape to upgrade my barn. And it's so frustrating! Am I the only one in this situation?

Nope, you're not the only one. :) There are others who also have tape woes. Me though, I have a hard time finding planks and I have too many tapes (600-700). We each have that tool that's harder to find.

It appears it's different for everyone. For me, I tend to get Planks most and Bolts the least. Often I need to trade some Planks to re-balance my Tape & Bolt stock.

LOL, I'm the reverse of you. I get tons of duct tapes before getting bolts and planks. My plan is don't hoard tapes and sell them off so I just have enough for next upgrade.

For the last 6 months, I have had trouble finding duct tape. Lately it is planks. I am finding axes like crazy, low on saws... I have no answers!

I'm flush with Tapes, and always scrounging for Bolts. Each farm has a different piece of the trinity that is less likely to appear.

I KNOW! ;) I've been looking for tapes for years.. Nothing is more rare to me than tapes. It might be nice if it changed sometimes. I've always gotten too many planks. It might be refreshing if suddenly it were planks that were rare.. I don't know if I could adjust though. I will always be happy whenever I get a tape..

Edit: btw, I'm missing one tape at the moment to expand. Just one.. It feels like an eternity sometimes until you get that last one. But I'll start playing in a minute and I'm sure I'll get it pretty quick this time, right?

I've been lucky in finding some Duct Tape in the DD. However, planks have been super rare for me lately!

Lol. I guess I should get into trades when I have some bolts and planks over. Never done trades before so I don't know how it works.
