Hi.
I would like that clan leaders could shorten preparation day and start war WHEN BOTH CLANS ARE READY. When all CCs are full, the clan leader could report to the other clan that they are ready for war. When the opponent is ready as well (CCs are full), the leader could accept the "challenge" and start the war. The preparation day is no longer needed to last one day after the war bases got hidden in some past update...Agree?

As johnnyfsullivan noted, this has been suggested before. Few forumers think it'd happen because Supercell controls the pace of war loot, war stars, and clan war experience to provide a level playing field for all clans. If prep day were shortened, you'd just have dead time at the end of your war before another war could be started since wars can only be started every 47 hours.
This is easy to fix: Warloot/experiancex48h war time divided by 47h/shortened war time. This would give every clan the same loot and experiance based on how rapid you finish a war. For those who dont care about loot and experiancepoints that much, but like to war, this is a perfect way to deal with it:cool::thumbsup:
Example:
you report for war when ccs are full - it took clanmates 9 hours to fill CCs. The other clan used 11,5 hours and started war then. That is 11,5 hours saved from a full war circle. Lets move on... Everybody finishes their 2 attacks within another 18 hours. That makes up the total war time = 11,5 + 18 hours = 29,5 wich is 17,5 hours short of a full war circle. When loot and war experiance i handed out the clans get less than if they had played the whole 47h: war loot and experiance divided by 29,5/47 = 58,5% of the war loot and experiance points

How do you divide war stars? Fractional stars don't exactly fit with the achievement. And are you sure your players are going to enjoy paying full price to fill the war CCs and cooking armies but only getting a fraction of the loot earned for a win? I can't imagine many players being ok with that for very long.
Stars can be divided just as any other numerical quantity and reporting early for war should be optional for the clan. If u would rather sit and wait 23 hours to get the full compensation you are free to do so..but please note that the compensation will be the same if you start your next war earlier. Isn't that why SuperCell won't let us shorten the war time? Because you aren't supposed to get more war loot and experience in a fixed period of time *i.e. 48 h.:cool:

Compensation is definitely one of the reasons that it won't be shortened. Player burn out is also a part of it, since Supercell wants a game that players enjoy for years - not one where they burn themselves out in a month's time. So is the concept of a global gaming system where players are on different time schedules. You also didn't address my question about how many players will be willing to spend the same amount of resource to fill clan castles, cook war troops and spells, and plan out attacks to get a much smaller share of resources. I don't really get the allure of doing twice as many wars in the same amount of time for the same payout and twice the cost. I also don't get the allure of gaining just a star and a half for every 3-star attack. Nor do I get the allure of starting a war and not really knowing when it'll really start since it's entirely based on your opponents' schedule. I can see a lot of clans on the other side of the world agreeing to begin when it's most inconvenient for you (e.g. 4am).
If you want to speed things up, there's going to be a new friendly challenge system that will allow you to war with other clans, without throwing out the existing Clan Wars schedule. Problem solved.
First of all, my suggestion was that the sign up for war option is optional for those who don't see the point of sitting around for 23h waiting for the war to start / so it's a mutual agreement between both clans attending war. Second, if you are so concerned about the cost of waring, why do you war_? You make much more loot just looting all day long with goblins, the cheapest troops around. Some people war for the thrill of beating your opponent, not for the crappy loot you get from it. Third, you still have 24h to execute your two attacks. That ought to be plenty of time no matter when your opponent starts war. And last, if you want the whole 23h to prepare for war, don't report for duty and everything stays the way it is.... And if SC are worried about burned out players...please remove challenge mode where you attack over and over and over and over and over and over again without any cost but the drain on your motivation
..and you could also agree upon a new war start. Let's say you have a "window" for war start and the other team has to report within that window e.g. 3h window, if your opponent hasnt filled the requirement to start early (i.e. filled the CCs and reported back), they can sign up for war when they are ready, and it's now up to your clan to accept within the new window. If neither clan is able to accept the whole prep day runs out and war starts as usual after 23h prep day.:D:thumbsup:
