They want impatient players to gem the research time because the gems required to upgrade troops is more expensive then buildings.

Tougher isn't defined as th11 only. If you are in a th6-8 war your top bases will be the hardest. Just the same as th 3-4 wars or th10-11. Top bases always have the most war weight= toughest.

Are you sure you read the whole thread the whole thread :facepalm: because it was clearly mentioned that there would be new levels for troops and defenses aside from balancing.

I would like to see more changes for th9s. They are just adding stuff to th10 and th11. Healer nerf was very good change tho.

I think you need to re-read his comment. The words "mirror" & "pair" didn't mean he was claiming their war weight is the same. Regardless of weight differences between opposite numbers, they have the same number of attacks. The engineered base is able to attack much higher on the map than the non-engineered.

He's saying the increased troop levels available to the engineer will make it easier to take out top bases. For clans that don't have th11 at the top of the map, that's probably accurate.
