When the leader leaves please WARN

This happened to me. I was the leader and I left forgetting to appoint a leader, and it fell to a co. Luckily he was a close friend.
One would say "why forget?" Well, we all are human and forgetting is nature.
And others may say "why appoint co someone you can't trust?" That is not always a valid logic because sometimes we have to give co to a really good attacker as a reward, but still not 100% trustworthy not to kick us all.

When we change the acc, SC forces us to type CONFIRM every time, with no good reason, and at many other places SC asks us to confirm. So why is the MOST IMPORTANT thing just thrown to somebody without a warning?

Please warn "You are about to leave. Please appoint a new leader"

This is not a big thing for SC, please do it.

Because there is only 1 leader per clan. If you leave that often make a new account promote to leader. Make your primary account co then u can come and go as you wish. You don't have to upgrade it or put it in war its a th3 leader I have seen this in many clans.

One of the suggestions I've liked is to require that leaders appoint a new leader (as long as there are still players in the clan) before they are permitted to leave. This would solve the problem and ensure that the leader makes a conscious effort to choose a replacement.

may be a "CONFIRM" option so that no one can blame SC again if they leave by accident :)

Accidentally left my clan by mistake the other day with my main, thinking it was my mini. It appointed some random Co as Leader, but thankfully he gave it back. I thought Leader would go to the highest ranking co in cups, but it just went to someone in the middle.

But yes, CONFIRM or "Select a Replacement Leader" would both be easy to implement changes.

I believe the co-leader that has been there longest gets leader. But, yeah, I support this idea as well

The leader that was longest in the clan does not mean much if players are switching often in the clan family. I support the idea of forcing the leader to appoint a new leader when he leaves the clan or type confirm if he is the last one.

It goes to the longest standing co-leader. Unfortunately, you have probably forgotten who that was, someone from the earliest days of starting the clan, and very likely they are not very active.

A warning or a confirmation step for a leaving Leader sounds sensible.

I have so many nice people in my clan that I don't really worry about this. But yeah, a warning couldn't hurt.
