I enjoy watching my progression up the boat leaderboard chart. I am only at 52,000 or so points, which puts me in the 465,000th place or so. Just wondering how high some of the more experienced players here are, and how many points are needed to be top 100,000 and top 10,000 on the list.
I'm level 124 and #66228 on world leader board with a total of 105127 points.
as of right now. i'm at the 1,063,118 th place. When I'm actively playing, I do 1-3 boats a day. Rarely more unless its during an event and sometimes will order diamonds to speed up the boats

I was having a good time watching my boat rank go up.... until I bothered to look at the stats of the top 20... in one case 1 million rss visits in a day... hmmmm let's see 86400 seconds in a day... so that'd be
11.5 visits per second. Seems almost machine like. Nuff said. :(
I wish there were more rewards for boat points. A second tier of rewards would be nice for those that have mastered the first tier.
It's farm visits in a day rather than rss visits, and I think not unique player visits (as in if I go 30 times I get counted as 30 visits), so it is not that surprising really (for "game whales"), given how many friend, follow or neighbour those farms specifically to try to fill the succession of crates opening on their boats, especially in boat events. Very competitive to fill their crates, so many all visit trying for the same boat crate to fill. If you watch their boats you will see that they rarely sit longer than a minute before even the hardest crates get filled. I am 62nd (so far from easily spotted, not like the number one person on board) and I have 56,400 visits in a day... that was a boat event day, with nothing on sale in shop. I'd suggest you go back to enjoying watching your own boat rank go up, more fun that way.Quote:

For example when Tomville is boating heavily during events, I'll refresh her farm while sitting on her dock so I can be ready when the next one sails in. It's realistically the only way for players who want to fill lots of crates to beat others there. So each boat might have 4-5 refresh visits by a large number of players at a time.
Yes, I think about 400 of the 56,400 were probably you! :) I forget this is happening when I call the boat then wander off to buy pumpkin in DD before opening the other crates, oops.Quote:

My boat score used to much lower before the derby with its boat tasks.
My goal is to keep my boat score low enough so that I continue to get grouped with a variety of random players on the leaderboard. As opposed to having such a high score that the same players surround me on the board.
