Help | Pro/Genius needed.

So that's my base, and there's a problem.

PROBLEM IS,
My base is gold-defense built. And my problem is that pretty much each raid I lose a lot of my Elixir.
Now situation is this... I don't wanna move/re-locate my walls, since my "defend-the-gold" goal is working, yet the Elixir loss is starting to bug me.


Any ideas what should I do with the Elixir Pumps/Storages?

your elixir storages are exposed making it an easy target for archers. To prevent that since you DE storage is empty, switch it out with elixir storage, and with the DE drill, do the same. This should help you because your not replacing a storage with a defense keeping your defense the same.

I'm kinda trying to work on my Barb King so I'm not sure exposing my DE is too smart... but you do have a point. I'll probably do what you just suggested, temporarily atleast. Thanks! ;)

ANY LONG-RANGE/PERMANANET SOLUTIONS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME.

swap the elixer storages with centralized point defences. archer towers and cannons do just as well guarding the outer walls as inner ones

In a little bit you will have all your troop max and you should be over flowing with elixir according to other th8s.

You're not thinking too clearly...
ATs and Cannons closer to walls > They get destroyed faster > I kill less enemy troops > They get to my Elixir AND Gold eventually > My loss.

Yeah started noticing it... 3 troops maxed already. Though it has nothing to do with my current problem.

You should definitely just leave them as is and not worry about elixir. Reasoning: you seem happy with your base and it's doing what it is ment to do: protect gold. If your priorities have changed, then you have to redesign the whole thing.

Just want to protect my Elixir abit better! Gold still is much more worthy for my eyes. ;)

Rather lose all of my Elixir than get my defenses knocked over so quickly. Never understood people that build bases this way lol.

Swap out 1 gold storage with an elixir storage to help even it out, taking out 1/3 of the storages won't do much damage.

also switch out between resources; Lets say you have WAY more elixir then gold, protect 1 Gold storage and 2 elixir.
