Solution idea for the "end game" burnout
As my sig suggests.... i am no where near end game as a maxed out th11. But we all see posts from th11's who are fed up.....
A possible solution to this end game "burnout" could be something that Call of Duty utilised years ago... start again from the beginning.
Give maxed end game players the option to start again from th1..... but when they do, they recieve a unique badge against their player profile (or league badge).
In addition to this, if a player so desired - anyone can restart, at any time - their buildings, walls, troop levels etc are traded in and converted to gems proportionate to the level of the item being traded - for when the player starts again. This means that anyone can restart at the beginning - however only the fully maxed th11 could recieve the unique badge against thier profile.
This idea of the unique badge worked really well for COD. With players restarting again and again and again. Players stayed interested.... the challenge of the game is renewed by returning to the beginning.... and with the gem trade-in idea mentioned above, the dedicated player gets a kick start to push through the lower th levels again.
Added advantage is that the game gets regular injections of lower th levels - this helps keeping clans diverse and not be just a slugging fest of th11/10 in wars.
What do people think? Crazy idea or?
edit: would be a win win for supercell as well. customer retention is assured, plus impatience would likely drive the re-starters to buy gems to advance faster again.
