Sorry bro i dont agree with ur idea . From my side, it is better to have spies. Is there any war in the world without spies? Clash of clans is simulating real wars situations; so having spies is natural.

My idea was... HIDE just the TRAPS only, from clan's basic MEMBERS ONLY ! Elders and leaders can see them. That way, only fresh clan visitors will not be able to traps.
A new comer's watching a reply/or LIVE attack is no problem with me, coz enemy team can see it anyway !!
To protect yourself from SPIES, you would simply NOT PROMOTE STRANGERS IN THE MIDDLE OF A WAR !!
If a newcomer insists on looking at the TRAPS, he will have to ask for promotion, and you can promote him to elder, but only if you trust him.
Simple isn't it !!
Its not important to imitate the real world. Due to the SPY PROBLEM, my clan has not been able to get even 30 Loyal and Good players, IN MORE THAN 1 YEAR ! That's because my clan is always at war, back-to-back. And is therefore ALWAYS ON INVITE-ONLY :/
If this SPY PROBLEM is sorted, the I will keep my clan as always on OPEN and then I will find good players and good players will be able to easily join my LEVEL-10-WAR CLAN !!
I have requested a similar fix once before (basically, new members cannot see the bases for a war that has already started when they join). We are in the same situation, we war back to back so we can never accept new members. It would be such an easy fix. I hope SC will eventually come around and do this so our clan can start growing.
I know that if this gets implemented, you must gain eldership in order to spy,
which means that, this doesn't really prevent spying, only makes spying harder.
However, the real point is that, for those who said that "spying exist in real wars and should be part of the game",
spies in real wars have to gain enough trust from enemies in order to do the spying.
For those who compare spying in clan wars with spying in real wars, just realize this is the really correct analogue:
gain enough trust from enemies in order to spy in real wars =
gain enough trust from enemy clan (to be promoted to elder) in order to spy in clan wars.
Problem is that even if this does happen people will complain about different ways of spying then another idea will be implemented then people will discover another way to spy then people will complain again and then another solution will be implemented until all we have left is a totalitarian game.
It's possible what you say could be true, but the current loophole keeps clans from admitting new members or visitors for fear of being taken advantage of. I say we close this loophole and look at or deal with others down the road. More interactions between players should be encouraged and the spying loophole discourages them.
