I would like to suggest more upgrades on dark elixir drills or more drills or reducing the cost of hero upgrades. As a TH9, it is difficult to upgrade heros as often as I would like. At TH9 you get 200 Dark elixir per hour but 21000 gold/elixir, all maxed, yet it costs between 50000 or more to upgrade heros based on their level.
There is a reason people refer to the hero grind. Upgrading heroes isn't meant to be easy.
50k is a Saturday of farming, and about 2 and a half week days worth. Learn to farm de.
It's a pain but you should do some farming with an all elixir army. Months ago when I was grinding hero levels as a TH9, I used an army of giants healers wizards and other various troops.
