The unavailability of heroes in war which are on upgrade is a major drawback in the game IMO. It'll be great if we are able to lease our heroes (on upgrade) let's say for 50 gems for using them in war attacks on a temporary basis (like a fix time period), afterwards they can go back to upgrading. This way both the SC economy and player will be immensely happy.
Interesting. I don't know if I've seen this suggested before. I've seen lots of people just ask for heroes to be used while upgrading. But for a player to be able to use their heroes for a small gem purchase during the upgrade, I can see that. I would pay gems for that.

It's simply just NOT ECONOMIC FRIENDLY to SC!
I can assure you a huge amount of gems has been and will be spent on hero upgrades.
This is the strategy for SC to make people gem their heroes!
As said in this suggestion, It would be a good idea for Players , But I don't see any good on that for SC pockets!
So , believe it or not , SC people also need to eat! And I hear them (just a little bit..)

For this idea, players will still be spending gems for making their heroes temporarily available in the wars, and there is a fixed time limit too. If they don't attack within given time frame say 2 hours, they'll need to spend gems again to make them available. The time lapsed for temporarily availability will not be added to the upgrading time. Imagine how many gems players who war 24/7, 365 days a year will be spending on the heroes. It'll certainly be beneficial for both SC and players.Quote:

if supercell can find the sweet spot for a the lower market players to gem heros they could benefit from this. Obviously they will lose money from higher end players if this goes into effect so it's going to come down to supercell's economist to figure out if something like this is worth it, and for how much gems per hero upgrade time delay. Interesting idea. i hope supercell looks into this to see if it's a viable option for their company and players to have a win/win.
