The picture of the bases means nothing. We faced a clan where every th9 but 3-4 were 9.5s and they had a defenseless th9 at the bottom. We beat them. We 3d all their th9s, they 3d ours and our tops were better than their tops. Most of their 9.5s were in the 64-66 weight range, most heroes were 10-15/10-15.
just because it's a 9.5 doesn't mean they can't be easily 3d by another th9. Just because they are a 9.5 doesn't mean they are a good attacker. Your bases need to be good too.

he was banned before at least twice

Defenseless bases don't work imho. I have never lost to a clan with defenseless bases. Unless they REALLY spend big bucks and have a maxed out TH10/11 offense/heroes, all they can do is basically take out TH8/9s, which get 3 starred easily anyways.

This. Besides, if supercell eliminates engineering, what will poorly organized clans have to blame losses on? One thread i read argued that players with high level heroes shouldn't be matched against clans with rushed heroes. Where does anti engineering stop?

Modders hate engineers the most because no matter how much they sandbox, a well designed engineered clan will still win. And if op is juanhive (a former banned forum account), then he is a disgruntled modder who used to rant about the same stuff.

And sorry to say, but I do not believe in the existence of triple digit win streak clans that are not either engineered or modders.

I'll bite. LazyGiraffe - Send me a PM or post here with your clan tag. I'll pop over with one of my games and take a look. We'll see if you're one of the two or three actual examples of a problem I've seen in the many, many posts we get here and, if so, I'll be happy to post an assessment.
