It looks like we will fail fishing event for the first time :O . That's sad. It looked very promising at the beginning. I wonder what happened.
Yeah we did start well, now at risk of falling narrowly short.
There was a maintenance between derby which caused lost time; why don't SuperCell add time for losses here? That maintenance looks like it will genuinely cost us the event win.

I think that a lot of people just do enough to get included in the event and then rely on others to do enough to get the diamonds.
I think alot of people do that, too. Or they probably lost interest. As for me, the fishing one is kinda my favorite event. I try to stock up on lures and only use red lures for occasional fishing.Quote:

Once I get all the personal awards I actually stop fishing. We haven't missed the fishing prize in a long time.
Good strategy. If you make your tackle box bigger and store green blue purple for Zander's, Sturgeons, Giant barbs you can know out fishing events with ease if your Just hook those in every spot. Just pull in the small circles you will nail every event with ease.
I had a total of 450 k or so :)
1st round 138, 2nd 137, 3rd 136, 4th some 80 or so (red lures and some green) 3x fishing is enough for me :) I know people that don't like fishing at all and are having difficulties catching the event fishes.
Shame we didn't make it. I reckon that this is the last time we get fishing events... :D Seeing the trouble with drag and drop events :)
I usually get all the personal rewards and then catch more only if I need the filet.
