Nerf CC troop donations

Before I begin this rant, please understand that this is my opinion and I mean no disregard for those that disagree. That said, I expect a civilized discussion in this thread. If you come at me with insults instead of criticisms and ideas, I'm gonna refer to you as the forum troll and ignore you entirely.

Now you may be wondering why donating cc troops needs to be nerfed. Well it's not the amount that needs a nerf, it's what can be donated that needs a nerf. Let me begin my argumenet with a question.

Have you ever had your troops destroyed by cc troops that are maxed out, unavailable to you, or simply too strong for your attacking army?

If you answered yes, then perhaps you will understand my frustration to some degree. I'm currently a Town Hall 7 and I use the WiGi strat (Giants + Wizards) and I entered my first war today. The first person I attacked had maxxed out valkyries in his castles followed by minions and a baby dragon that wiped most of my troops out. Learning that I will be dealing with this, I added my lvl 4 archers to try combat the strategy and guess what, they got destroyed too. I can assure you nothing is more frustrating then losing to someone who is simply riding off of their leader's troops to win battles. I watched one of the TH6s try to raid someone in the war and max lvl wizards and hog riders spawn and wipe out his entire army. Now I imagine I'm getting the, "get gud stupid noob" response from some of you, but the thing is those troops I and the TH6 battle highly outclassed our armies. I believe the Baby Dragon is a TH11 troop and gets a boost if not fighting alongside other dragons....well I mean his health bar was glowing so... So yes, that is the point I'm trying to prove. I personally feel there needs to be maintenance to where clans can't piggy back their weaker members to beat other people. It provides an unfair disadvantage to the attacker and the defender and there's no real way to prepare for if you are making a war clan when a Baby Dragon ♥♥♥♥s all over your base. I do have some suggestions, but if you disagree with me, you don't have to read them.

-Make it to where you can not give someone troops they cannot make themselves.
Ex. Giving a TH4 a dragon

-Reduce the troop's level to fit the person's max level.
Ex. Make a lvl 6 giant lvl 4 if given to a TH7

-Make the troop take up more space if the person is a lower TH than you
Ex. Wizards taking 6 spaces instead of 4 when given to a TH4

Now that I've stated my point, feel free to comment down below telling me your thoughts on the subject. I will try to respond to most of them. Just don't be a jerk in your criticisms. If you don't feel you know the difference between criticisms and being condescending, don't respond.

You're missing the point of it being clan war. It's about what a clan can do as a whole, and that includes troop donations.

It is possible to overcome CC troops as a lower leveled TH. Even at higher town hall levels it can be that an attack strat will need modifying, or even completely changing, so as to best deal with what is in the CC.

Do u have any of the dark spells yet? I always have at least one poison in war and that works well enough even on higher level troops to bring their health way down and slow them down at the same time. Also I'd bet u rushed all your troops into battle at once, try lureing the cc before you lay down all your troops so u can corner the cc and kill it.

Id be against any nerf just for the fact that it's the whole point in war like mentioned above for the clan to work together, in my clan only the leader and co-leaders fill the war castles so we get the best chance at protecting our stars during war and force the other clan to use higher players attacks on our lower players

PS the TH4s can't take dragons. No, don't nerf cc donations. Reported for simulated swearing

CC is part of the game for good or bad. Deal with it. It is a pain for lower levels, but essential for defending at higher levels IMO.

This removes the whole point of the cc, to give you better troops then what you can train.

Just read your post, clearly you frustrated at getting wiped it so easily, did you think if dropping lightening on the cc troops?
Like all the above have said it's a part of the game, the idea it to try and defend your village, no ones going to fill their cc up with some weak troop if they can get a strong maxed one.

Well what do you suppose I should've done? I tried luring them out with archers and Wizards, but the Valk and Baby dragon wiped them all out since they do APE damage

TH7 Does not have Poison and no, I did try to lure them out.

Do you know how I could've handled it? The CC wiped out my entire army when I tried luring them out

On 6 thall usually players getting 150 stars, on 3 thall starting learn how to kill valks... So on 7 thall no problems with cc troops.
You just unlucky with your clan. Why nerf cc troops? Change clan ;)

If there's a valk in the cc, you just drop a giant, and as she tries to kill it, you sneak up on her from behind.

For dragons or baby dragons, they can easily be distracted by barbs 1 by 1, as your archers kills them

They do splash damage, which means you should spread your troops out more. It's very tricky, but doable.

Sorry to sound mean, but that's the entire point.

Spreading your troops out to attack CC troops is hard and takes practice. Bring 4-5 wizards, 4-5 archers and 4-5 barbs. What you do is use an archer or barb to lure the troops way out to the corner. Then drop 2-3 barbarians or archers in a triangle so the enemy CC troops have to take time to go kill all of them. Then QUICKLY drop 4-5 wizards in a circle around them. Then when the enemy CC troops are about to kill your archers or barbarians, drop another archer or barbarian. You drop it close enough that the troops aggro onto it, but far enough away that it doesn't die from the splash damage. You do this to keep the enemy troops focused on your barbarians and archers while your wizards are far enough away that they can kill everything. It's hard to do with valkyries, and it might be better to just bring a giant to tank these instead while your wizards kill them.

Keep a few different troops in your army that you don't need in your attack to beat cc troops, I use minions they are super helpful against Valkyries

Giant/wiz is a terrible war strategy. You got what you deserved for using such a poor troop composition. All townhall 7s need to know is 10 dragons and a good spell comp is auto 3 stars.

Just use a baby drag or valks in ur cc for a counter. Drop a giant, while the enemy troops are attacking it, put a baby drag from ur cc. It will wreck the enemys troops easy.

If the enemy can be MAXED TROOPS in the CC, you can have too! If you can't kill the cc enemy, use your cc to destroy then! :p
