Which lures do you need to catch the big fish during the fishing events?
Anything but red really.
I would love to know where the monster-sized fish are lurking. Not in my lake that's for sure!

Red can be used for event fish (if you're very patiënt) in the swampy part with the tree.
Just don't use gold. All event fish can be caught with blue, green or purple.
red lure only in swampy fishing area (below duck salon)
green lure in all fishing areas: NEEDED to catch all event fish medals
blue lure in all fishing areas: NEEDED to catch all event fish medals
purple lure in all fishing areas: NOT NEEDED to catch all event fish medals
gold lure in all fishing areas: NOT NEEDED to catch all event fish medals

Seriously, read the guide Myso linked to in this post below its excellent! and in particular the parts about inner circle size and closing speed of the outer circle. It will help you identify the event fish when a fish has been hooked.Quote:

Don't try any other fish from your fishing book, you might spill your lures on event fishes :)
