Lose less trophies on defense if opponent is higher town hall level than you

Put simply, it is incredibly unfair for you to lose 25 (a lot) trophies while defending against a higher town hall level than you, which is generally an attacker you have no chance of defending against. Trophies do not always determine how good you are. You guys can decide yourself if this should determine if this affects how many trophies the attacker wins.

Speaking of which, how many trophies do you guys generally lose on defense? How many do you usually win on offense?

The trophy system only uses one criterion for trophy offerings: the difference between the attacker's trophies and the defender's trophies. It's a pretty simple system and it definitely makes sense since it's all about trophies - nothing else. Many players don't care about trophies and play to loot other bases. For those players, attacking a lower townhall will yield less loot and be subject to a stricter loot cap. But if you want to to fight for trophies (entirely voluntary), you'll need to work with the existing system.

But why is this a reason to not change?

At least don't let someone who is Master I attack someone Champion I, there is a too big difference !
I am TH8 at Champion I and lose 55 tropies against TH9 this is incredibly unfair !!

There was this one time when I lost 17 trophies to a Town Hall 7 on defense, and it was only a 2-star (2/3 of total trophies avaible).

The average amount of trophies lost to an attacker (most are TH7) is 20.
The average amount of trophies gained from a defender (most are TH5) is 10.

What about you? What your Town Hall level? What is the Town Hall level of most of your attackers? What is the Town Hall level of most of your defenders?
