Town Level and Rewards

This has probably been asked and answered, but my forum thread searching skills are non existent.

How many levels are there in town? Any fantastic rewards for reaching levels? I did see someone posted they got 10 diamonds for reaching level 50 in town and it made me wonder how high you could go.

I don't pay too much attention to my town level, as there is no new things at higher levels, however, I did just reach level 30 and got 10 diamonds.

I just assumed that once you hit level 30, the reward for levelling up would be 10 diamonds every time now.

Unfortunately, no on the 10 diamonds every time...but have no idea on top level. I am guessing you can go as high as you want.

Highest reputation level available is 100

You get 10 diamonds for 10th 20th - and 100th level
5 diamonds for 5th 15th - 95th level
and 1 diamond for the rest of the levels.

For example from reputation level 58 to reputation level 59 you need to collect about 70k reputation points and game rewards you with 1 diamond..

Why do the rewards matter so much? Leveling up town allows for leveling up the buildings, which in turn will give you more "rewards" from the visitors in the form of experience, gold and faster service. That is the only thing I am after from the level ups of reputation, and enough "reward" for me. Diamonds I will get from buying them.

I saw someone was quitting after reaching town level 50, and "only" got 10 diamonds. Come on. Is that all it takes for you to quit? Are we playing Hay Day because it is fun with farming games, or because we want rewards for leveling up, preferably 50 diamonds each time? Well, have fun in another game then and whine on their forums instead when you feel you aren't getting enough free premium currency.

I was also meaning upgrading buildings and such. Not just diamond rewards. I didn't put that in my original,post.

Highest level for service buildings is 38. At that point you would have
6/6 spots
+60% coins
+60% xp/rp
-40% service time

Eggspress train is topped out at level 12, or 14 passengers

Town hall also level 12 for 42 visitors

Personal train can pick up 10 every 90 minutes at level 19

As pointed out by the post just above mine, at level 38 you cannot upgrade buildings anymore. At that point I think it's fair to expect the game to give a little more reward elsewhere instead. Such as more Diamonds.

Otherwise your playing town just to play town, earning more town tools you don't need just clogging your barn and getting 1 to 10 Diamonds for every 50,000+ reputation points.

Not much of a reward system is it?

I don't know. I just don't see it as such a big issue. Just don't bother leveling town after level 38 then?
But to use this as a reason to quit? Sorry, but that is just silly.

Don't bother to play town is hardly in SuperCells and the players best interests though is it?

As much as we play for entertainment, an incentive system also needs to happen. Clearly town fails there post level 38.

As for quitting over it, I imagine it's the straw that broke the camels back. I know from my clash days it becomes a massive grind after getting to the pointy end.
