Hi there, I know this question has probably been asked before but is there a maximum capacity level for the barn and the silo storage? Or do we just keep going on and on and on? It would be nice to know that eventually we no longer have to collect duct tape, bolts, nails etc. Thanks in advance for your answers,

Word is 10k is max for both.
I believe the max is 10k for each.
I thought someone else posted somewhere that the max. capacity on the silo was 800. I know that sounds vague, but I thought I read it on the forum somewhere in someone's signature. Can anyone confirm? I've also noticed in the trading area that higher level players have very little interest in silo expansion materials. Maybe people just like to expand their barns more often, but I thought it might be because they had already maxed out their silos.
I've read it in someone's sig too, but I think they meant it to mean that's where they are choosing to stop. I confirm the max is not 800. Barn is more important than silo for most just because for most people, they have to stock up produced goods for various reasons whereas with crops, it's easy to grow and relatively easy to buy.Quote:

To send away difficult boats, all you need to do is send the boat right away when it arrives, make sure you don't fill any boats at all.Quote:

The capacity is 10,000. Many, many people have more than 2,000 slots, and I know people very close to 5,000 and they have no problems. There was an issue with having more than 999 of any one item stored; that has been resolved.Quote:

Hi. I search the paper for barn upgrade materials but they are scarce. I don't know for sure, but I think now that I am at a higher level, materials are harder to find and get in the paper than they once were. I am very active in farm chores with the hope to collect upgrade items there, but mostly I get silo stuff that I no longer want. I also look on the leader board for farms that may be selling what I need, and I check friends' farms frequently. I also check followers' farms several times a day, but usually won't buy upgrade or scarce materials from them. At this rate it will take me two more months or more of intense searching to upgrade one level.
I don't have extra barn upgrade items to trade.
How can I expedite the process? Since new items are continually added, I am always at or over capacity.

I found myself at an upper level with a very small barn and silo. The first tip I obtained from the forum is to wheat (grow and sell lots of wheat which gets you lots of goodies--barn items, silo items, land items, saws, axes). The second useful tip was to focus on obtaining one upgrade at a time and to expand my silo first (so you can more easily wheat). I think my barn and silo are still smaller than most at my level, but I can live with the capacities now. For example, while expanding your silo, trade the useful barn expansion and land expansion items or sell them if not tradeable.Quote:
