Under The Dome?

I have been pondering this idea for quite a long time. I have always hated lightning spells crashing down on my towers destroying them. So. How about add a dome/ shield? The tower itself would be 3x3, i imagine it to lol something like the new inferno towers at level one. But this tower emits a blue dome that blocks all spells in that certain area. Enemy troops would be able to destroy it. And then use their spells to knock out the towers within the dome. I was thinking.

Level 1,
hitpoints, 300
shield range, 2

level 2,
hitpoints, 320
shield range, 3

the most domes you could have would have to be only 2. Otherwise it would protect way to many buildings. You would only be able to fit 4 3x3 buildings under the dome n the farthest reaches, otherwise you could fit 4 more 2x2 buildings under the dome.

Doesnt really fit the theme of the game.. Nice Idea tho, i like it.

No, this will not happen.

If this was implemented it would essentually make the lightning spell worthless.

If the the lightning spell is worthless, people get upset, when people get upset, they quit.

Imagine spending 60,000+ gold on lightning, going to use it, and it being blocked by this "dome". Now imagine this happening 3 battles in a row... I know i would be ready to quit.

I'm assuming the dome would be visible...? Or else people wouldn't know where/when to attack it, that's what I interpreted from his suggestion.

I would go for just one dome that protects just one building. The guys that just go around dropping lightning on dark elixir storage annoy me

Yes, they shine a bright blue that touch the top of the tower to the ground in a large dome.

The lightning spell would not be worthless. You would still have plenty of buildings to drop it on. My assumption is that max domes you can have is 2 at level 10 townhall. The whole dome would be 9x9, did you not read? Or are you just spamming to get your post number up?

The most 3x3 buildings u can fit under each dome is 4. How many does that equal All together?? 8! U still have plenty of buildings to spam with your lightning...

8 building under the dome.. Hmm I guess I'll put all 3 mortars, dark elixir storage, maybe some wizard towers... How about no? Somebody could just put all splash damage building under it, I'm guessing your version of the dome would also protect against other spells such as freeze spells? Higher level players could cover their inferno towers from freeze spells. Way to OP.
