Why does no one focus on the pros of engineering?

Do you assume clans with very long winning streaks never get a mismatch disadvantage? Obviously, you never been in one.

For every engineer clan with a decent win streak (say 20 wins), I can show you, dozen and dozen mediocre engineer clans with a very average record of 60-70% win. It is not magic wand that you and other anti-engineers are making out to be. One above poster started to engineer his clan, yet he still achieve only 85% wins...See, it is not a guaranteed win. Skill is still the main factor.

Increasing their win rate by 20% is a big jump.

I have a clan that is on a 33 win streak. Current 10 person war contains 1 townhall 10, 2 townhall 9.5s, 1 townhall 9, 3 townhall 8.5s, 2 townhall 8s, and a defenseless townhall 6. All townhall 9s and 10s have lvl 20 heroes and maxed troops. Opponent clan had 1 townhall 10, 3 townhall 9s, 1 townhall 8.5, 3 townhall 8s and 2 townhall 7s. Their townhall 9s had mid teen heroes. Their townhall 10 had 40/40s. The only way that they could win was if their townhall 9s all got 6 stars. They didn't and will lose. We, on the other hand easily 3 starred all of the townhall 9s and below. That left us with 4 chances to 2 star the maxed townhall 10. They had 1 shot per base. We had a pretty sizable advantage and we aren't heavily engineered.

not surprised you won. we are up against an engineered clan ourselves (no engineered bases this lineup) and they have a th10 and a 9 defenseless. now if I was you, id create a thread or post and complain but instead i look at their troops, see that they can only take a th8 at most and win the war and NOT come to the forums saying "oh man i beat a clan with an EXTRA th11 AND th9 what an achievement (even though they are basically th8s)

LOL I see this a lot, and have same attitude as you. As soon as I see possible engineered bases sitting low on the map, I check their offense to see if they can actually affect the war. Not once have they had the offense to triple even our lowest th9s.

I fail to see the mismatch. Both side have the ability to get perfect. That's a poor example if you are trying to make a point.

there isnt a mismatch but the opponent has engineered bases which according to anti engineers is unfair and mismatch and cheating , etc.

There are real mismatches and that is what needs addressing.

I would agree. The problem is that those lopsided bases are designed to get the mismatch at the top. I've been in quite a few wars where one clan has such a great advantage at the top where one clan can't win. 3 maxed townhall 11s vs 1 townhall 11. Good war clans don't worry about the matchups as long as they have enough attacks to cover. Fixing the matchmaking by addressing the offense/defense descrepancy will solve this. It'll allow everybody to play on a level playing field.

Engineering is a thing. It works.
You insist that you don't engineer.
You also show up fighting the pro engi case in every single remotely eng related thread.

So, I ask again, what's in it for you?

Obvious narcissism aside, I reckon you're one of those "just want to watch the world burn" guys.
