Do we need a report function on global chat ?

The reporting function is abused. I think everyone, or nearly everyone, is aware of this. I was banned today for saying "test" in global chat, during the clan chat breakdown.

There are soooooo many threads on this, but to date, no action... It was encouraging to see Sneaky's moderator thread. Perhaps, it'll be in the next update.

Or, we could organize a customer strike and everyone just sit there and hit "report" on every single GC comment to make the point... hmm, tempting. But, no don't do it. Two wrongs don't make a right... but just saying, I wonder whether some kids do that...

Maybe they are PETA supporters and they thought you were talking about animal tests.:p

The one thing thats really useless is the report button ,
when im a lvl 90 im get banned in 15 minutes just to say hi or hello,:mad:
but when on my second account ( lvl 47) i can say everything also swearing i dont get banned!!:confused:

really supercell stop with the report button it dont make sence ( try it yourself , i did anyway):cool:

Either they should have moderators in the global chat or do away with the report button. To many ppl abuse it.

The report system has allowed for the most immature people in the community to assume the role of policing it. I fear that appointing moderators could also do the community untold damage (see rogue clan elders).

I feel it should be replaced with an ignore feature. It's far more practical to adopt a system where the individual player can decide who is displaying inappropriate behaviour and simply hide their messages from view.

I think they should appoint moderators like us.... I can tell from your posts that you would make a better moderator than 90% of the players out there.
