Once there was a lovely farm that had been unusually lucky in receiving 2 tractors through the gift catalogue. The farm owner knew that they were both in storage, so when she brought one out of storage, she didn't think anything about it until she noticed that her coin total had dropped by 1,750,000. She immediately started thinking about what she could have inadvertently done to spend that amount of coins. The tractor. Sure enough, there were still 2 tractors in storage. She had purchased a third tractor.
Next stop, a report to the ever-helpful support folks.
Now, as many farmers know, the tractor has always been available for purchase. It's twin was also available in the gift catalogue. They appear separately in the deco tab, so in Hay Day, the tractor you select might not be the tractor you want. I just went and counted. The two tractors are not next to each other. You have to scroll past 112 other deco items to get from one to the other.
I know I'm not alone in having had this problem. I also love decorating my farm and am delighted to have such a huge selection of items to choose from. The deco tab has always had subsets, but what I think we need now is some method for quickly identifying which items are those we have in storage and which we have to pay for. For example, my next granite paver will cost something like 1,500 coins. That's not a problem, but I certainly don't want to start pulling wrought iron fencing out and suddenly realize that I used up all the stored ones and have been spending 8 diamonds for the last several.
I'm thinking that maybe a frame or highlight or something that identifies items in storage and distinguishes them from items that require an expenditure of coins/diamonds/vouchers would be a timely tweak. If there is any support for this, or if anyone has any other suggestions, we can move this to the ideas forum.
At the moment, I'm just hoping that I can return my virtually unused tractor for a refund. In the meantime, maybe I need to buy some of those gold stone wall sections to protect it.
