I actually like the "hobby" machines (sewing machine, loom, candle maker, jeweler, etc). It's nice to have something different than having all food-type machines.
I've even suggested 3 new hobby machines, too before (none of them made the cut).
Of the food machines, I like the sushi maker. Although I don't use it much, it is different and unique with that conveyor belt thing.
BBQ grill. Not healthy but yummo! Fish and Chips a favourite.
I have a soft spot for the bakery, the first machine we get. What's not to like about a machine that makes something useful from just 3 wheat in 4 minutes?
Duck Salon of course. Love the animation. Always stop and watch for several seconds when in the fishing area. Never fails to amuse me :o
