Town Event - Double Coins

So new event started, double coins...not bad. Gift shop at the least worth going out of your way for; can get huge coin for jewellery.

But I wonder, why is it the double coin town event is coins only; but the xp town event is reputation also?

Why isn't the double coin event also double reputation?

Personally I want rep far more there than either coins or XP.

Well, unlike, say trucks where you get coin and xp, the town allows you to increase the bonus coins or xp/rep together. So, they are connected in the programming when rewarding with extra xp, rep is also increased together. They aren't separated. Ever wonder why it is either double coins OR double xp but never both? What difference would it make to do both? The powers that be just don't offer it.

Oh yeah true, the level up is rep & XP combined.

For some reason I thought they were separate upgrades.

Haha, oh well; might do a few extra jewellery requests but otherwise I'll just use the town as per usual this event.

DAZ - I kind of use this event to get more RP as I don't mind serving them some things I wouldn't normally as I'm not losing coins as well. I don't need the coins, but I hate them paying way, way too little for some things!;)

Just sold 1 Diamond Ring for 3,832 coins; Ka-Ching!

I love the rewards in the town! Using my personal train is the best! So this event fits right in with my game plan. Getting double coins plus a EM or tool is super!
