does anyone else get aggrivated by this?

Ok, i've been playing this game for several months. A couple of complaints...

A) does anyone else get REALLY aggrivated with the censor in the game? it censors stuff that blows my mind. And not even an entire word. Just the end half of one word, and the beginning half of another word, NEITHER of which are a negative word.

B) the ease with wich someone can get you banned. I have been banned TWICE from the global chat, without having actually DONE anything wrong, all because a clan is in the chat, and causing problems, and they don't like being asked to keep it clean. NO ONE Seems to read these reportings. They just seem to be a case of "Oh, two people reported you, so we banned you".

Someone needs to be responsible for actually READING the reportings, and making a HUMAN decision on wether there is a punishment for the 'reported' behavior. I have seen people cursing in the chat, and my reports do nothing. But if i dare mention to others to keep it clean, i'm attacked by the ppl in the chat, and then banned.
RIDICULOUS!!!

I love the game, and enjoy it. I have spent a couple hundred dollars in gems for the game. I don't like constantly having my enjoyment of the game threatened by a bunch of little children with power trips.

Personally, I don't see any reason to use global chat unless you are looking for a clan and no one you know irl plays coc.

It wasn't full of clan requests when I started playing( End of summer ), at least it applies to my countrys chat.

I never use global. I've just never had a reason to. It is ridiculous though. IMO it should be closed, but I think it will be improved though. There was a sticky a while ago asking for our thought on it.

Actually, there is EVERY reason in the world to use Global chat. if you have questions about the game, if you want new clan members, if you want to join a clan, if there are issues in the game and you want to see if others have that issue, or simply if ur clan is not that active socially and you want to try to make a few new aquaintences. But the Global chat is not being run properly, and there are issues with it. It should be worked on. It's the ONLY negative thing about the game.

Questions and issues with the game are better suited on here. Global is good for recruiting and being recruited, but that is about it (besides getting banned randomly by little kids). They either need to put moderaters in global chat or get rid of the report button. Either way is fine with me, but I really wish they would fix it. This is certainly not the only negative in the game though.

The forums are much better for this. Anyway, the only people who use global are level 15s who won't be able to answer questions etc.

There are plenty more negative things by the way. Much worse than global.

um, that's not true at all. There are MOSTLY high level users in the Global chat, looking to recruit new members. And i've had plenty of questions answered by adults in the global chat.
But to me, the Global chat is the biggest issue. The other night, there was a pedophile in the room, trolling for little boys. He SPECIFICALLY said that he was an adult male, married with kids, but that he wanted to find little boys to talk to. I managed to get EVERYONE to jump on him and report him, but he left on his own accord when he saw everyone was reporting him. There needs to be a moderator or whatever in the global chat, who makes all of the banning decisions. Instead of little kids with a power trip.

I don't think the global chat should be CLOSED. it's a great way to make aquaintences. I just think that there should be a better way to fix the issue of cursing and causing problems than someone clicking your name and getting you banned without the approval of a moderator.

A) You can report words or phrases you believe are filtered incorrectly here for review:

B) It's actually closer to seven different people reporting you to get the ban. Nothings is submitted to be read, it's simply community policing - at times, very abused admittedly. Supercell has looked at the ability to add live mods - I believe there are some issues with iOS permissions for something like that, and with all the different chat channels, would take a lot of people, but they evaluate their options to make it better all the time.

First off, i didn't realize it was bad for people to ask if you'd like to change clans. And i don't really mind if that's what people want to do.
and just because you have encountered what you deem to be unsavory people does not mean we all have. I have met VERY nice people, some of which i still talk to off site. (facebook).
I'm simply saying that Global chat CAN be very helpful. I learned alot about the game through global chat, and very awesome people. My only issue is the fact that USERS can cause you to get banned from the chat. It's aggrivating and annoying. At any given time, any one person can get annoyed with you for whatever they deem is reason they have, go back to their clan, and get others to come back and report you. That's all it takes. I just think there should be a different way than allowing users to ban people.
I think definately a better option would be a way to IGNORE people. Just click their name, and along with the 'visit', 'invite' options, there would be a "ignore" option. Maybe replacing the 'report' option altogether.
It keeps people happy because they don't have to see rude or crude behavior, yet people who truly have done nothing do not end up losing their chat privilages.

it's just an idea :)

This way there is no need for a moderator, or a report feature.

Well yes it is extremely frustrating.. Occasionally you can get people you actually WANT to talk to but this is then ruined by the little kiddies that will ban you for not joining their clan..

In my opinion global chat is an absolute joke.. And to finish off.. I am currently banned for not joining a clan that was trying to recruit me..

I went into global to see if it had improved and to get those screenshots. That represents 10 minutes of sitting in global. Admittedly it's an extremely small sample size, but I feel it's pretty typical of global. As for the guy trying to get me to join his clan, maybe I don't like it because I play alot of Runescape, where the clan community is much deeper, but I just think it's bad manners to try and get somebody to ditch their clan and go to yours.

Well, this is why i think an "ignore" feature would be SO awesome. :) You could just click someone's name, and opt to ignore them. :) They could do the same to you, but no one would be able to 'boot' you out just because of a personal vendetta.

So much hate on global chat!

I thought global chat was there just for entertainment and a way to talk to other people.
Almost like a *Smega in Maplestory or Runescape*
I've had a few good global chats and i don't really mind the abusive banning because it doesn't happen often.

Reading through these comments though I think farming is starting to take over people's minds with the mentality that "If it doesn't help me get more gold/exilir efficiently then it must be worthless and ignored"
